Oh, Im just curious about it as I will be going there later. Oh, so thats the place where healing occurs?Originally posted by vince69:their healing service? yes, once or twice, their woodsland church is just across the road from my place.
very typical charismatic type of service.

ok, they do perform healing and deliverance service there every Saturday evening, they called it Miracle Service, its 7pm, both at their Tampines and Woodsland center.Originally posted by shade343:Oh, Im just curious about it as I will be going there later. let me go try do some search for you, hopefully can find them, heard of some documented cases (I am talking about those that are assessed by medical doctors).Originally posted by Chin Eng:please share on what goes on in it.......
I have asked this question in EH many moons ago: can someone share on a documented healing event where the blind saw and the lame walked. Don't give me those psychosomatic illness like headache and aches and pains....
and if possible, anyone, an independent assessment will be helpful.

I may sound like I am a pain in the rear for making my request, my rationale is that there are too many fakes around. It is bad enough sometimes that our faith is being ridiculed because of unsubstantiated claims.
As I'd said, to me, the "holy grail" for healing is a blind guy having his sight returned.
My Dad's a perfect testimony of miracle healing. He attend's Church of Singapore (COSB) and in 1990 he was diagnosed with Hypertension and had to be on medication for life cause if his BP shoots up chances of him suffering a stroke is very high. Whenever he suffer's from stress or is tense, he would have tingling sensation to his arms & get giddy spells. Everyday he would have to pop like 10pills which is really heart wrenching to watch.Originally posted by Chin Eng:Vince, thanks....

Hmm you ask an interesting question... of course the real question is if you believe that this is possible to begin with in the first place... it's all a matter of some reasoning. Just as a person who does not believe in ghosts will never believe it despite having seen one, or a person who does believe will try to see one at ever corner. In a sense, having evidence is not enough as having the faith and thinking required to make sense of it. Two people seeing the very same thing may come up with different conclusions.Originally posted by Chin Eng:please share on what goes on in it.......

Barring that, do you have reason, never having seen, to believe that miracles are possible? I believe so.
Maybe you did not have enough faith? Have you read Pastor Rony Tan's 5 principle's on miracle healing?Originally posted by laoda99:so far......the so called miracle services i have attended I have seen only pple with headaches etc "cured"....which is why I am skeptical too
there are simply too many new churches preaching the wealth and health prosperity until the main message is compromised
I myself am someone who is sick and is not cured at miracle service.
that used to be my school during kindergarten days.Originally posted by shade343:Does anyone here attend their miracle service held on saturdays?

I do believe that miracles can happen - otherwise how can I believe in God?Originally posted by SingaporeTyrannosaur:Hmm you ask an interesting question... of course the real question is if you believe that this is possible to begin with in the first place... it's all a matter of some reasoning. not enuff faith? who doesn't want to be healed? who doesn't pray earnestly and have faith that he will be healed?Originally posted by shade343:Maybe you did not have enough faith? Have you read Pastor Rony Tan's 5 principle's on miracle healing?
Hmm, you read it? What did you think about it? Did you follow the procedures step by step?Originally posted by laoda99:not enuff faith? who doesn't want to be healed? who doesn't pray earnestly and have faith that he will be healed?
