Personally speaking, i adhere to the Plymouth Brethren's convictions of non-denominationalism. First century Christianity never had denominations. We are all Brethren gathered around one head, Christ.
We may have minor differences on non-essential points but we are
one body, with one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in us all.
Many churches influenced by denominationalism followed suit. Some drop the name Baptist in their churches so as not to cause division among Christians.
Many Christian churches now are non-denominational. If you have repented of your sins and trusted in Christ alone for salvation, we are Brethren.
Ask many a Christian now about which denomination they belong they would say: "i am non- denominational." And I am too.

I do agree that Pentacostal do not belong to the mainstream denominational churches.
Where i come from the church stand is that we are Independant not belonging to any denomination. However the teachings are more charismatic. -

the correct version of apostle creed has that word in there, but most Prots prefer to take it out to avoid confusion. -

I think I told you guys before .. I went to the Queenstown one and was fascinated by the setup 'cos it resembles the Jewish synagogue in some sense.
