Adam & Eve (The growth of human population)

God created man in his own image. So out came Adam & Eve. Does the name "Adam" and "Eve" refer to a population of homosapians or just 1 human in itself?
if it's 1 person then how we grow so big? cannot be Eve keep's getting pregnant for the rest of her life? she not "Mu Zhu".
Bible mentioned after Eve, came Cain & Able. But they are boys. Was it a norm to have"incest" then?
or did God take ribs out of human and created more of them? -

Remember Cain was exiled and God put a mark on him? The mark was to protect Cain against other people (strongly hinted, since the bible uses "anyone", "whoever" etc .. why didn't the bible use "anything" to include animals?).
Also Cain found a wife after the exile. I don't think Eve bore daughters and exiled them for Cain to find later right? -

But the point remains - the guys screwed hominids who looked like humans but were not humans in the biblical sense.
They could be neanderthal (sp?) men for all we know. Paleontology supports the co-existence of homo-erectus(?) with neanderthal man. -

God didn't play genetician to form Adam's race. All except Eve were born from their mother's womb. Alll living things come from God. In the early days, humans were no different from ape like hominds in terms of look. -
