You say people's answers are SOPs, defensive blah blah blah.....well, perhaps then you should also stop judging other's comments through your own knowledge or understanding. How in the world do you know that someone posting an "SOP" answer (to you) is actually speaking sincerely from the heart ?
Maybe the way i do it is wrong, but i love the Lord dearly and i am highly disturbed when someone wants to "define" Him.
Anyways, there is no need to pre-empt my "whatever" and say "no problem" to it, it doesnt serve any purpose.

God predestined and His will is to save the elect.
And salvation is not by our own will nor work. It is God's grace who thru the Holy Spirit will it in us to be saved, not by our goodness.
Only those whose name is recorded in the Book of Life is saved.
Every christian will appear before God to account for his life, faith and deeds.
Those christian who sat back and did nothing because they thought God predestined everything for them that they don't need to do anything, will see their spiritual gifts/talents taken away and at the end of time, not be rewarded.
Those christians who did evil will be punished.
Every deed will be tested by God's fire. Those that survives it will be rewarded.
Jesus Christ said "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as in heaven."
Christians should live on earth the heaven way (doing not their own will, but God's), not the world's way.

put it this way...u rear am aquarium of tetras...(hahha) and one day u decide to put in some pelican ink...the tetras will thought how come the sky turn dark all of a sudden and continue to swim happily....
to the tetras...they thought its normal but the owner knows its not because he controls the aquarium environment.
Man's freewill and choices are valid and can still be carried out but at the end of it all...God is still in control.
