Ya, we always find some form of justification if we want to. You will always find some people to agree with you certain things are ok, certain things are not. No i am unemployed. Been unemployed for a long time. Thanks to God that He is still providing for me in a way thru my mother but i feel guilty that i as a man cannot work to earn money. The tax collectors were collecting more taxes than they were supposed to collect by abusing their authority given by Rome. If you dont pay, they haul you to court then you are in big trouble with govt. So they grew very rich from these ill gotten gains on top of their commissions. Why despise gamblers? Jesus said it bcos He was being tested by politicians trying to trap Him into saying He disobeyed Roman laws & was against the Roman Emperor by revolting. So you are right He was being framed bcos they wanted to get rid of Him.
