Hey raptured, we all fall and we all have things that we are stuggling with. None of us are perfect, but when we do fall, we have the grace to come back to God and repent.
In your own strength, you will struggle, but in Christ, you will be able to triumph. Everytime you do somethying like this, or have the urge to do it, give it up to Christ there and then on the spot. The reason why you may be going through this is because Christ is bringing to the surface all the impurities so that He can take them away as you yeild them up to Him.
He is coming to us with a problem. Let us support and encourage him and uplift him. What is wrong with you people?
Let him who has no sin cast the first stone, apparently quite a few have no sin.
Breytonhartge, i suggest you point out to whom this post is referring to.Originally posted by breytonhartge:Hey,

Hi, I am not siding anyone here, but since Lau ask me to write a testi for him that he isnt causing trouble in my forum, I'm posting this..Originally posted by LazerLordz:IMHO, Lau's posts are good because they help to avoid a streak of fundamentalism and it does tone down some potentially serious inter-religious bashing sessions.
It did not start off this way. It started with raptured posting one of his inane question. Somewhere in the middle he answered his own question. So is the question rhetorical in the first place or is he seeking help? From the trend of his previous threads, seems he is asking for ask sake.Originally posted by breytonhartge:Hey,

As I had stated before, he DID not come to us with a problem, he came to us with a question, one where he provided an answer himself.Originally posted by breytonhartge:He is coming to us with a problem. Let us support and encourage him and uplift him. What is wrong with you people?
I don't think there is any condemnation by anyone except himself. I had already stated very clearly in my very very brief description sinners - everyone has sin, sexual sin is only one of the many sins, and no, it does not prevent anyone from entering heaven if he truly has accepted Christ.Originally posted by breytonhartge:Let him who has no sin cast the first stone, apparently quite a few have no sin.
hey iveco..... take it outside. This has no bearing on the discussion.Originally posted by iveco:
brown obsession,Originally posted by brown_obsession:yup i agree with breytonhartge, i also admitted earlier i had this problem too even up till today. but mcsquare . Masturbation is indeed wrong, when u lust for women is considered a sin.
However, if u ever did it , ask for forgiveness sincerely and God will forgive u for He is a merciful God.
This is the tricky part, i used to dwell in it as in i feel not worthy to be christian even i ask for forgiveness in most sincere way. I felt distant with God and etc.
I read this book by John Grisham , it is devil's work which confuse u and make u feel that way. Devil tried to cloud ur perception of ur initmate relationship with God. I confirmed it in the bible , Romans 8:1 "So now there is no condemnnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus"
If u ever punish urself or curse urself for commiting a sin even after asking for forgiveness , u r indirectly saying Jesus did not do a good job. He has paid the price for us , die for our death , suffer in behalf of us , He has made us pure and white as a snow.
This is second tricky part, after that for sometime i always continue to do it and ask for forgiveness after that . Soon i realised that im actually taking advantage of His grace.
So i went for a bible a study , they talked about temptation and i learned much from the story Jesus healed a lepor woman and told her [b] to go and sin no more[\b]
yup cheers ! to mcsquare r u a christian ? haha sorry im blur

Thanks BH but i think they werent coming down hard on me. CE can be quite encouraging by saying i can still go to heaven if i have trusted in Christ. My drive has come down a lot recently so should be ok. Very much less this kind of thing. I suggest young people to keep themselves busy instead of indulging in this thing. I think they have too much time on their hands. I was young before so i know. & i am still young leh.Originally posted by breytonhartge:Hey,

I dont understand. No lust how to masturbate? I cant do it. & since you need lust to masturbate, why isnt it a sin?Originally posted by M©+square:brown obsession,
My earlier claim is that Masterbation is not a sin. Yes i will stand to it.
Neither did i say it is not wrong.
Lust itself is a clearcut Sin.
Masterbation is always linked to Lust. But not all masterbation acts are derived from lust.
If masterbation that relates to LUST IS SIN.
Let those who felt that Masterbation is sin raise this issue to God, one to one.
Let those who felt that masterbation is nothing sinful life as per normal until God say otherwise.
Cheers
I surely stand on the idea that masturbation is a sin. Which is one reason i bring out for discussion whether it's a sin & you help contribute to this discussion in a way but saying it's not a sin. It is clear from fellow forummers posts that it's a sin & they stand on the grace of God to save them. Well, i dont know what to say for those with high sexual drive but i think God can change that since you say it's by God?Originally posted by M©+square:Like i've asked in my practical question No 2.
If you would have seen that example. If you have a solution, share. Tell us if it's a sin or not.
I merely presented in a way which calls for all Christians to check themselves where they stand on this. Where they stand upon the Grace of God and where they stand on the act.
Can you also explain if High sexual drive/desire is given by God?
Cheers
Some people can masterbate without anything in their mind.Originally posted by Raptured:I dont understand. No lust how to masturbate? I cant do it. & since you need lust to masturbate, why isnt it a sin?

The problem Christians needs to curb is Lust, not masterbation. The root problem which will lead to masterbation(generally).Originally posted by Raptured:I surely stand on the idea that masturbation is a sin. Anyway, all acts start with the mind. To quote a famous philosopher, i think therefore i am. Yes, you are right. We have to start with our thots but how hard it is. So we flee- chabot lah! I believe Paul's thorn wasnt masturbation. It was a demon. Unless you think one can get demon possessed or oppressed by masturbating.Originally posted by M©+square:The problem Christians needs to curb is Lust, not masterbation. Don't wish to go into it. Like Ironside have pointed out - 'flee from youthful lust'.
Why flee them? Why not Overcome them???
Why not Overcome masterbation?
That verse speaks of the problem mind, not the act.
Consider over it?
Why did God not remove Paul's thorn? Since we do not know what the 'thorn' is.
But we understand somethings God place in men is for certain purpose.
Mystery...

Sorry for my crudeness. Bcos basically i cant do it so have to learn from master. Just joking lah. Dont take too serious.Originally posted by breytonhartge:eh... careful huh...
