Can Christians m**turbate?

Hey,
Raptured was honest to tell us about his struggles. It takes guts to do this, especially here in EH. Instead of criticizing him and coming down hard on him, we should encourage him and pray for him.
Hey raptured, we all fall and we all have things that we are stuggling with. None of us are perfect, but when we do fall, we have the grace to come back to God and repent.
In your own strength, you will struggle, but in Christ, you will be able to triumph. Everytime you do somethying like this, or have the urge to do it, give it up to Christ there and then on the spot. The reason why you may be going through this is because Christ is bringing to the surface all the impurities so that He can take them away as you yeild them up to Him.
He is coming to us with a problem. Let us support and encourage him and uplift him. What is wrong with you people?
Let him who has no sin cast the first stone, apparently quite a few have no sin. -

yup i agree with breytonhartge, i also admitted earlier i had this problem too even up till today. but mcsquare . Masturbation is indeed wrong, when u lust for women is considered a sin.
However, if u ever did it , ask for forgiveness sincerely and God will forgive u for He is a merciful God.
This is the tricky part, i used to dwell in it as in i feel not worthy to be christian even i ask for forgiveness in most sincere way. I felt distant with God and etc.
I read this book by John Grisham , it is devil's work which confuse u and make u feel that way. Devil tried to cloud ur perception of ur initmate relationship with God. I confirmed it in the bible , Romans 8:1 "So now there is no condemnnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus"
If u ever punish urself or curse urself for commiting a sin even after asking for forgiveness , u r indirectly saying Jesus did not do a good job. He has paid the price for us , die for our death , suffer in behalf of us , He has made us pure and white as a snow.
This is second tricky part, after that for sometime i always continue to do it and ask for forgiveness after that . Soon i realised that im actually taking advantage of His grace.
So i went for a bible a study , they talked about temptation and i learned much from the story Jesus healed a lepor woman and told her [b] to go and sin no more[\b]

I don't think there is any condemnation by anyone except himself. My earlier claim is that Masterbation is not a sin. Yes i will stand to it.
Neither did i say it is not wrong.
Lust itself is a clearcut Sin.
Masterbation is always linked to Lust. But not all masterbation acts are derived from lust.
If masterbation that relates to LUST IS SIN.
Let those who felt that Masterbation is sin raise this issue to God, one to one.
Let those who felt that masterbation is nothing sinful life as per normal until God say otherwise.
Like i've asked in my practical question No 2.
If you would have seen that example. If you have a solution, share. Tell us if it's a sin or not.
I merely presented in a way which calls for all Christians to check themselves where they stand on this. Where they stand upon the Grace of God and where they stand on the act.

I didn't know anywhere in the Gospel that Jesus healed a leper women and told her to sin no more.
Only in John 8:10-11 Jesus did say to the women with adultery
10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Thanks BH but i think they werent coming down hard on me. CE can be quite encouraging by saying i can still go to heaven if i have trusted in Christ. My drive has come down a lot recently so should be ok. Very much less this kind of thing. I suggest young people to keep themselves busy instead of indulging in this thing. I surely stand on the idea that masturbation is a sin. Which is one reason i bring out for discussion whether it's a sin & you help contribute to this discussion in a way but saying it's not a sin. It is clear from fellow forummers posts that it's a sin & they stand on the grace of God to save them.
