There is no definite head of the council (at least I am still not able to find it in the Bible), the only 'head of church' mentioned is that being Jesus Christ.
Elders only appear after Acts 6.
Anyway, its meaningless to debate which apostle is better or more powerful, cause all are but the followers of Christ, and as Paul says it, all (apostles/elders are but Servants given that we may know Christ.

Also catholics were the first to do exorcism of demons in recent times i think. All the strange phenomena all came from catholicism like the charismatic gifts in the charismatic church now. So some people opposing these gifts as satanic bcos they believe the catholic church to be satanic.

If you really want to know what is their teaching, travel a 1yr journey with them on this course called RCIA (Rites of Christian Initiation for Adults) then you will have a deeper understanding on their teachings. -

Honestly, except for the statues in the church and some of the traditional rituals like holy communion (how its done), I really don't see much difference with their service and that of a very traditional church service.

You need to know what do Catholics believe, what do protestants believe, and what do the occults believe, to tell the difference among them.
Protestants churches originated from the catholic churches. It is the difference in the beliefs, not just the rituals or practices, no matter how very traditional they are. -
These people claim they are catholics. Scary men. You have these kinds of people in church hiding behind the cloak of holiness. But, I've been learning from fellow Christians who actually spend more time doing stuff, then debating on forums on the pretext of sharing the faith.(yes even those who have a great number of theological differences with me)

I don't see it your way. IMHO, this forum is a good place to sort out theological differences and, more importantly, correct misconceptions.
Some Christians can spend their whole religious life within the 4 walls of their church .. and get brainwashed by their church leaders without hearing the other side of the story.
