That's good brother...........then apply your ideas here and help out.
Bring them out so that people will be evangelized and edified.
I don't even mind preaching in the mall, if the mall authorities would allow me
even if i would look crazy to other people. Even if other Christians would criticize my methods.
Paul rejoiced when the gospel is preached whatever was the motive behind the preaching of the gospel.
Php 1:15 [b]Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and strife, and some also from good will:
16 The former preach Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my chains;
17 but the latter out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel.
18 What then? Only that in EVERY WAY, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice.
I hope we will learn from Paul. And I'm sure Paul would not mind whatever methods the gospel is preached as long as the gospel is preached. Instead of sniping at the other unscrupulous preachers of the gospel Paul rejoiced.
Bless you

MC, I agree with you, by and large, the purpose of this thread is quite pointless.Originally posted by M©+square:It's ok.
You just let me know how many have converted(if any) because he/she have read this thread.
Since you've quoted Epistle Paul,
I, then conclude that CHC should not be criticised anymore, since as long as the gospel is preached, fellow breathens should rejoice over the good work CHC had done.
Do i see contridiction between quoting the word and applying the word?
Cheers
hahahaha!!!Originally posted by Chin Eng:MC, I agree with you, by and large, the purpose of this thread is quite pointless.
On the other hand, it is not harmful, not in the league of CHC.... I'd leave it alone.....
I don't know anything about CHC. I don't even know what's CHC stands for.Originally posted by M©+square:It's ok.

aaa??? CHC stands for City Harvest Church.... hard to believe that there are Christians who do not know any of the Big 3...Originally posted by Ironside:I don't know anything about CHC. I don't even know what's CHC stands for.
But if they have preached the gospel in a way that mars the integrity and pureness of the gospel then that is not what Paul meant.

I also often wonder how a christian can preach to his friend how God loves him but will soon leave his friend when he finds his friend not willing to be converted. I also wonder how christians can call each other brothers and sisters but hurt each other when they cannot agree on how to preach the gospel.Originally posted by M©+square:No problem.
It has always been a wonder when a Worshipper could weep or prostrate, or could proclaim in the public about his faith but sin another moment.
Are people too confident to answer this question?
My answer to 'Are You Ready'?
::: I don't know how i will fare in this. But likely, i will care not; at the end of the day. I'd only ask myself if i have loved the Lord enough to continually still worship him till the end of my days.
To have the strength to continually stay faithful to the old rugged cross.
Interesting how Hillsongs could come out with a album theme so appropriate to what modern Christians truly lacks.
I like how they put it across, very personal and powerful. It seemed like what God himself is tell his people.
- YOU are my world -
Cheers
will pray for you MC...Originally posted by M©+square:All also not doing well!
Yes, that enough. Being IN CHRIST is enough.Originally posted by sgdiehard:I also often wonder how a christian can preach to his friend how God loves him but will soon leave his friend when he finds his friend not willing to be converted. am i ready for His coming? I know I will be with Him when he comes. With the blood of Jesus Christ i am part of his family. Is that ready enough?
cheers.
Sounds like a test of salvation. For the benefit of those who want salvation, 'With the blood of Jesus Christ i am part of his family' means accepting that the blood that Jesus Christ shed on the cross was necessary to cleanse me of my sin and be reconciled with God, and believing that I will now be accepted as child of God. To acknowledge that we need salvation means we acknowledge that we are sinners and the need to repent.Originally posted by Ironside:Yes, that enough. Being IN CHRIST is enough.
Can you elaborate more my friend about your statement: 'With the blood of Jesus Christ i am part of his family' for the benefit of those who do not know Christ yet experientially.
Does it mean that since Christ died for sinners that all are saved then automatically?
What should be their proper response to Christ's sacrifice on the cross?
Has this thread been a "healthy exchange amongst Christians and non-Christians about Christ's Second Coming"? I hope it has. It is interesting to find ppl like McSquare who would stay faithful to the old rugged cross, love and worship the Lord till end of his days but said he is not a christian, do you think that was enough for Jesus's second coming?Originally posted by Ironside:i hope this thread will be a healthy exchange amongst Christians and non-Christians about Christ's Second Coming and what must they do to be prepared.
And i hope Christians will spend more typing time as to how to be prepared and i hope that those who have delayed their repentance and faith in Chrsit will be awakened by our discussions here.
a follow question for believers: What has the truth and reality of Christ SEcond coming any moment done to your daily living?
thanks.
We live one life and that life is one dedicated to God. To do His will and to follow His commandments. To live a life completely sold out to God. If you believe in Jesus, but just because you think He is coming after you RIP, you life a different life, then of what witness is your life?Originally posted by sgdiehard:If I am 70 years old and believe that Jesus will come after I RIP, then should I live a different life?
Yes, brother the doctrine of the Secong Coming once it penetrates the heart and understood has a tremendous edifying effect to the Christian. This blessed hope of Christ Second Advent has a purifying effect to the Christian.Originally posted by breytonhartge:We live one life and that life is one dedicated to God. Abraham, Moses, David etc all lived one life, that was dedicated to God for they saw the promise and it was enough.
