I hope we will learn from Paul. And I'm sure Paul would not mind whatever methods the gospel is preached as long as the gospel is preached. Instead of sniping at the other unscrupulous preachers of the gospel Paul rejoiced.

Since you've quoted Epistle Paul,
I, then conclude that CHC should not be criticised anymore, since as long as the gospel is preached, fellow breathens should rejoice over the good work CHC had done.
Do i see contridiction between quoting the word and applying the word?

When Paul said in "EVERY WAY' it doesn't mean absolutely 'all' including sinful ways and means. Just like obey your parents in the Lord In everything. Everything there does not mean absolutely everything including sin.
What we are trying to do here brother is to get others stirred up and interested in our faith. Who knows if God will bless our efforts.
I am especially glad that Repented John ask the question about how to be ready. That way we can post messages that others can read about how to be ready for Christ's Second Coming. Just a single statement of the gospel delivered to others is enough for me already.
I am not saying that my methods are 100% okay. of course, there are other Christians here that can come up with brilliant ideas about how to evangelize in the net and edify fellow belivers. I am open to suggestions and corrections.

By Repented John's asking about how to be ready and by pointing the way about how to be ready that many others can read. I think the purpose is reached.

maybe some anxious soul under conviction of the Holy Spirit logs in the net and tries to look for answers about how to be ready for the Second Coming.
clicks in Sg forums. The thread cathces his or her attention, reads REpented John's question [and hopefully other Christian's inputs] about how to be ready and by God's irrisistible and effective grace is led to Christ. -

I think if you want to question the point of this thread, the point of may other threads in EH have to be questioned first.
I think it is a valid question. The time is coming soon... when Christ will return. If you look at the time frame, it just might be.
There is no harm in what Ironside has posted. He has not degraded anyone, he has not insulted any groups... so just leave it be.
This is after all a Christian forum and these sorts of questions can be discussed amongst believers if one wishes... it can generate a healthy debate.

Yeah i sure do hope He comes tomorrow. It will be a great event for sure. for the first time i will see the One who died for me and gave Himself for me face to face.

To have the strength to continually stay faithful to the old rugged cross.
Interesting how Hillsongs could come out with a album theme so appropriate to what modern Christians truly lacks.
I like how they put it across, very personal and powerful. It seemed like what God himself is tell his people.

I also often wonder how a christian can preach to his friend how God loves him but will soon leave his friend when he finds his friend not willing to be converted. I also wonder how christians can call each other brothers and sisters but hurt each other when they cannot agree on how to preach the gospel.Originally posted by M©+square:No problem.

Does it mean that since Christ died for sinners that all are saved then automatically?
What should be their proper response to Christ's sacrifice on the cross?
i hope this thread will be a healthy exchange amongst Christians and non-Christians about Christ's Second Coming and what must they do to be prepared.
And i hope Christians will spend more typing time as to how to be prepared and i hope that those who have delayed their repentance and faith in Chrsit will be awakened by our discussions here.

Sounds like a test of salvation. For the benefit of those who want salvation, 'With the blood of Jesus Christ i am part of his family' means accepting that the blood that Jesus Christ shed on the cross was necessary to cleanse me of my sin and be reconciled with God, and believing that I will now be accepted as child of God. A gift is given FOC, unless you accept it the gift is not yours and is of no use to you. If ppl do not acknowledge that they are sinners, then they will not see the need for salvation. If ppl see no need for salvation, Christ can be crucified a hundred times, his death and resurrection means nothing to them. What does "automatically" mean?
To your last question, unless ppl acknowledge God, accept that we need salvation and believing in Jesus and what he did, Christ's sacrifice on the cross is just another great thing done by another great man.

If being in Christ is good enough for Christ's second coming, what preparation do Christians need to do?? or should Christians change our daily living because of the second coming of Christ? If I am 70 years old and believe that Jesus will come after I RIP, then should I live a different life? -
We live one life and that life is one dedicated to God. To do His will and to follow His commandments. To live a life completely sold out to God.
