The point is, how much time do you take to compose one Christian reply? For example, does Ironside reproduce from memory or he flips his books fervently while typing?

I normally spent less than 1 min writing a post, but sometime when I am in the mood, I can take up to 10mins to do it, mostly a lot of rewriting in order to be sure I got the right message across.

One good thing abt being 'academic' here is that they force you to reveal your sources and to be as close to the 'truth' as possible, if saying from the perspective of this forum. -

I don't believe I have ever quoted without giving my personal feel on any topic. And most of the time, I do not quote. Or if I do, I ALWAYS give my source.

Christianity as a whole is quite academic. It is amazing how many theologians you can find in the world working in the academic circle. Even the liberal ones like Crossan and Borg. -
i do it from memory, experience [experience of Bible truths] and years of studying......i edit my posts most of the time because there are some ideas i cant get through straight in English.......i am not a good english speaker but i can write it better than i can speak it. I quote Bible passages to prove my statements about someone asking about Bible topics. Literalist - tells the story as it is......
Allergorist - use various imageries of unrelated icons to tell the same story..... no different from the parables of Jesus, and possibly the style of Revelations
