Its the varied executions which worry me.Originally posted by M©+square:One Christian may have presented the Gospel to a unbeliever and leave him with a prayer.
One may present the Gospel and stay with the unbeliever to clear out any doubts he may have towards Christianity.
One may present the Gospel and when opposition comes, he'll leave and leave it all to God.
One may present the Gospel and choose to preach with love and grace.
One Gospel. Varied executions. Unexpecting returns
Each Christians are unique. No use sterotyping.
I suggest you go read the last few threads in EH.Originally posted by laoda99:Answer me YES or NOT. U answering ur own question?

Ok.
Christ is the only way to salvation.
There you got it.
So you can actually vouch that most Christians conduct evangelism with a pure intent.
The turnover rate of backslideness is almost as high as salvation rate. So i suspect your vouch may not stand if Christians that have backsliden in their hearts would evangelise.
Of cos. Ironside might counter with - The supposed Christian is not a genuine convert. Which will pose another question.
You help me cut and paste my post leh.Originally posted by laurence82:Again, read my last line about walking in a path of extreme error in blind faith.
Not even the best theological professor can answer the question doesnt mean you dont try.
Or shall we all just turn EH into a cut and paste forum? Url linking forum? Prayers forum?
Have u grow in your faith? Or still "stucked" in between?Originally posted by Icemoon:You know why he has not grown in his faith after these debates? I can list some reasons:
1. arrogance .. no humility
2. non-critical thinking (the einstein quote treats all of us as fools)
blah blah ..
What i'm trying to say here - crudely. IS don't be too sure of what you're saying esp when it's about the HEART of MEN.Originally posted by laoda99:Sometimes I feel u dun even need to ask questions. U have the answers urself? Is this a test/"fun"?
Just as long as it doesn't go into extremes. It will be fine.Originally posted by laurence82:Its the varied executions which worry me.
I've always believed in a sovereign God. Where got stuck?Originally posted by laoda99:Have u grow in your faith? Or still "stucked" in between?
If u are asking for the impossible, mebbe Christian forum is not the best. Probably u can do some meditation on ur own or go bible study in a church. If u want, u can come my bible study group. We can talk it out.Originally posted by laurence82:Again, read my last line about walking in a path of extreme error in blind faith.

State ur faith. Or I still see u as stucked in the middle of nowhere.Originally posted by Icemoon:I've always believed in a sovereign God. Where got stuck?
How difficult is that? I believe in a sovereign God who responds in mysterious ways to my prayers.Originally posted by laoda99:State ur faith. Or I still see u as stucked in the middle of nowhere.
Whatever. As if you can help answer all questions if Icemoon states his faith.Originally posted by laoda99:State ur faith. Or I still see u as stucked in the middle of nowhere.
First line is..KSM?Originally posted by laoda99:If u are asking for the impossible, mebbe Christian forum is not the best. Probably u can do some meditation on ur own.
For me, I would prefer EH to be more bible study-like. I gain most from my bible study and difficult questions are posed to my bible study teacher.
These days, I come to accept that human knowledge is limited and we cannot answer all the questions.
U are lucky I am not MCSQUARE.Originally posted by Icemoon:How difficult is that? I believe in a sovereign God who responds in mysterious ways to my prayers.
It does not contradict. I do ask difficult questions and my BS teacher help me a lot. Those which he cannot answer we do pray abt it.Originally posted by laurence82:First line is..KSM?
Second line - dude, i just saw that you made the biggest contradiction in all my debate here with you. Can MC and Icemoon see it?
Third line also contradict with your second line.
At least we will be on equal grounds. U should also state urs.Originally posted by M©+square:Whatever. As if you can help answer all questions if Icemoon states his faith.

Simpily put aross :For Knowledge.Originally posted by laurence82:Ok, then i ask u instead
Why would one go to bible study for?
Can you then see a big contradiction in laoda's points in the overall debate with me?Originally posted by M©+square:Simpily put aross :For Knowledge.
It does somehow contridicts.Originally posted by laurence82:Can you then see a big contradiction in laoda's points in the overall debate with me?
My point was, if knowledge isnt important, why pursue it in the first place? If pursued, why are debates and even further pursuit not be important?
It also lead on to, what is the pursuit of knowledge hopes to achieve?
Questions questions questions
Everything i said was in the context of the highlighted oneOriginally posted by M©+square:It does somehow contridicts.
But because he believes in his salvation, that's why he wish to get into the knowledge of understanding certain aspects of belief.
In respond to your context.
It's because you do not believe in salvation thru Christ.
So he explained that no matter how much knowledge you have, it doesn't amount to salvation until you have decided to believe in Christ.
In short : He's saying, it's no point for a non believe to have so much knowledge of Christianity yet do not believe.
