On first glance, my answer is also no. and no. like Icemoon.
But really depends on situation. Say Hitler send you to kill all the Jews. It is wrong. -
Meaning of martyrdom is when you put your own life at risk and willing to be killed, not because you strap bombs around your body & end up killing other people as well... but because even at gunpoint, you refuse to deny that you believe in Jesus Christ and that you are His follower. Crusades or holy war are equivalent to jihads. You not only kill yourself but others as well. That's homicide and that's the stupidest way to convert people to your religion. -
if i am not wrong the bible says that in the absence of God the law of the country supersedes. so whatever 'sins' committed due to the law will fall on those who set it.

It depends on whether u think it is a sin or not.
If u think it's a sin and u still do it, it's a sin. If u think it's not, then it's not.
Because I think sin is supposed to be relative, not absolute. It depends on your understanding and ur belief. And this can vary from person to person according to his religion, or his understanding of his religion, or his moral values.
And I think God is Almighty and Ever Merciful. How can we commit a sin if we sincerely do not know/ believe it is sinful/ wrong?
So I believe sin is relative.
Now, to answer the question for me personally, I think....errr....no. As long as you are not doing the execution or killing with hatred or revenge or other evil motivations. But that's just me. Other people can think it's still sinful coz it takes life away. Then it can be a sin for them. -

Do you sincerely believe in your deepest heart that God would take somebody's act as sinful if that person doesn't know it's sinful, or even, if he believes it's righteous instead?
God is Omipotent and wise. If we do something and believes it's not sinful, or even right, then how can God judge us as sinners? Conversely, if you believe something is a sin but u still do it, then will God not take you as a sinner?
That's why it all depends on your understanding and belief. -

I believe that if you don't know that you are sinning, you are still sinning, only thing is that you may not be culpable for it.
