Wise Men from East: Chinese?

Why I believe Wise Men who visited baby Jesus were Chinese :
1. Because they came from the East
2. Because tney were wise
3. Because it took them 2 years to reach Bethleham after the appearence of the star.
Why they can't be Arabs, Persians, indians etc:
1. These races were known to the Jews. Bible would have recorded that Arabs came. or Persians came......India traded with Solomon....also known race.
2. Chinese were supreme in Science/Technology in Han Dynasty.....hence the description : wise men
3. It took 2 years to reach Bethleham.......can't be Persia or India- too near., won't take more than 3 to 6 months to reach, even via slow walk
4. God has a plan for the Chinese- they were the first Gentiles to be introduced to the Saviour........and they will be the last........
a. "Paul was forbidden by the Spirit to preach in Asia"........time not ripe
b. "Glory will come in from the Eastern Gate. ' .....probably the Chinese will be called to deliver the Gospel back to the Jews in Jerusalem.
How this theory? Boleh-ka? Cannot-meh?

probably an argument to raise the chinese majority's self esteem of the church.

And why bible called them WISE? .........I think because they very clever lah, got super calculator (abacus), got compass, got paper to write on, got astromonical charts, got gunpowder, got spectacles, got world map, got silk, ...........and probably science which baffle the Jews, Arabs, and Romans.......
Africans? sorry lah, not very wise......no great inventions.....only got super bodies....strong men, not wise men -
Point 1-3 I have no comment. Asia in the Bible, I believe wasnt refering to Asia as a continent, rather it was refering to Asia Minor modern day Turkey I think. Secondly, have you read Heavenly Man by Brother Yun? The point you stated in 4b MIGHT be happening. Han Dynasty started 200 years before christ, and ended 200 years after. It is considered one of the greatest period in Chinese history, that the Chinese call themselves people of Han. -

Just saw on TV that Chinese and Japanese scholars observed and recorded the explosion in Crab Nebula in AD 1044............shows the high level of astronomical understanding amonst the peoples of the East.
AD 1044 : England was still ruled by myths and legends.......the Normans had yet to invade......Europe was in the dark ages..........US just populated by red Indians.....Belian and Saladin were slugging it out in Jerusalem........
So the sighting of the Star of the birth of the KING was a definate possibility.
But the question remains: why should any wise men from any country search out a new born king when kings were a dime a dozen? Somehow they knew this KING was special.......worthy of worship......they must underake the journey whatever the cost.........however far.......I believe Chinese records will one day be discovered and would reveal the journey of the Wise men towards the land of Israel...... -
So where were the proof that the three wise men were Chinese?
Secondly, since time immemorial, men been looking for the king, not a king. The question is..so what? What your post try to imply? I think you need to point out exactly what is going on here rather than lead the forumers in a whole lot of wooly guesswork and speculations. -
No proof lah, only deduction:
1. Who is wise?
2 Who come from east?
In AD 1, the only wise people in the east were Chinese and Indians-the others followed either India or China.
The Wise men can't be Indians because the Jews can recognise them, and the Bible would have recorded that wise men from India came to see baby Jesus. Note the book of Esther Chp1 verse 1- mentioned India......this means Indians were not strangers.....
But Chinese-wah-lau never seen these Eastern chaps.......donno how to call them......never heard of Han Empire.......OK Lah, call them Wise Men from the East...........so.........like that lor ! Deduction...............unless you think Funan or Champa or some hill tribe produced wise men 2,000 years ago -

On your second point, probably you are right. If I'm not wrong, the number of people who are Christian in China are slowly on the rise, if not rapidly. -
