Say i have a friend who claimed he have to do something for God because God gave him a message. Impossible mission.
I'd have the choice to disagree, but if he brought forth fruits which he sown in obedience. Then i don't find it a problem.

This moment, some things happened in such a way that you gotta believe He exist. BUT the next moment, some things may also happened in such a way that may make you believe He doesn't exist. How can you be so sure of that "special relationship"? Think about it.
If I'm not wrong, I remember reading somewhere about Darwin. Darwin used to be a Christian. His daughter died one day (dunno due to what) and he blamed God that He did not revive her. So he started to disbelieve God exist and went in search for His purpose of existence. And so we have now the theory of evolution. [When writing about Darwin, I always worry that the debate about evolution VS Creation will occur. Hope not.] -
I'd be surprise if any CGLs have any good answer. For starters, CGLs are selected because they toll the line. Next, the attend a set course for qualification as a CGL. They're probably tune to react in a certain way using the standard Q&A. I do not fall into the category of thinking within the frame mindset, either at work, at home or in church. I am more of the devil's advocate most of the time, constantly challenge the trend or the comfort zone.

Each CGLs were handpicked by Higher Pastoral management themselves. Those CGLs i used to converse with geniunely knows what they are talking about.
This was my impression of CHC Cell group leaders.
Maybe as the church grows at a uncontrollable rate, high standards and careful selection process was trade off.

CHC is more stringent - still the selection process is to bring in those of like-mind so they can "sing the company song" together.
Most churches are not so strict, but a certain level is necessary (not a bad thing though), but the lesson are usually confined to pure theology, less apologetics, and practical lessons. -
