How do you know that God is speaking to you???

  Alot of times, i wonder if messages i receive is it from God or rather my mind is playing games with me. So how do i know if God or the Holy Spirit is speaking to me??? I am quite a skeptic in dat sense whereby i would want a confirmation to watever message dat i receive.
