Talking about holidays.
Received a phone call yesterday. Told me I've been selected for an advertisement for a new product launch. Gave me 14 days free accomodation in Europe and Pan Asia. On top of that, a free videocam worth $1000, plus a $1000 travel voucher. Sounded very suspicious. They reassured me that it is not a time-share thing, nor required to purchase anything. One of the three local mobile phone service provider also involved.
I agreed to go down. I will resist all temptation to commit to any purchase. Get the free stuff and run

I've also received such phone calls, my first and only reaction is - I am not interested - usually the caller is stunned for a moment, seems that they do not know how to handle people who is simply not interested in a "bait".
If you have to listen to a talk (the sales-pitch) make sure that you can leave anytime you want, and that they allow you to leave your mobile phone on. Also note for any loud music being played when the sales-pitch is on.
If something is too good to be true, it probably is. -

Got Ralio lah... but the FM transmitter is to connect to the iPod and transmit to the car audio system... so we can listen to the iPod on the move... I am already ok with CDs and radio stations... the iPod thingy is what she wanted...

We had a discussion, she doesn't mind moving into my place. She prefers houses filled with people. I don't foresee too many conflicts.. hehe.. -
One of the reasons why we came to that conclusion is because we hit the income ceiling by HDB. So we can only either go for ECs, resale flats or private housing. Private housings are quite stretching for our current finances unless we only go for 2-rooms. ECs currently are built in ulu areas. Resale flats have to take time to find one that is in ok state.
So current plan is to move in, then take our time to find a place of our own. Even then, we might not move out. Buy house and rent it out for income -
That's nice, another member to the family.
Wedding prep is fun , taxing, but fun. LOL
Somethings gotta do damn early though like booking hotel, packages, etc.

We want to keep it small leh. She even said to forego wedding photos. Her reasons being that photos we take during the whole course getting together more precious than those arranged in the studio.
As for the dinner part.......... I think church wedding and reception is sufficient for me.... have yet to discuss what our parents think of it... -
