Was your spritual walk ever easy or straight?

You want to share about yours?
It seemed like all the time you've been asking questions. But never understanding where you are.
Getting people's view this way doesn't help in any way because each individual are unique and their walks are different from yours.
If you think you can gain something of from people here.
Then i'll say you'll only gain views.

speaking from my opinion, nobody's walk is every that easy or straight, if you want to grow, you will always encounter trial and tribulation. If anyone tells you any different, then they may be lying, unless they are so obedient that they listen to God every step of the way.
just look at examples from the bible, all the great men of God all went through trial and tribulation before they became great and all of them stumbled at some point.... all that is except for Jesus. -

I think most of us will say it is never easy, it won't be easy. There's no promise of an easy walk, but God promises that we can look to Him for strength.
At one point of my life, I was struck with two big disappointments in a short space of tim. It nearly derailed me. After much struggle, God made me learn very valuable lessons through this dark period of time.
This brings me to an appropriate sharing which I learnt from my quiet time a few days ago. God uses the dark times to speak to us. It is in our most troubled times that we need to learn to listen to God. We need to be silent and humble in His presence and wait upon Him. It is only when we realise we need His guidance that we are meek enough to be changed by Him. So when God appears to be 'unhelpful', don't be discouraged. Wait and sit at His feet. When you are ready to listen, He will speak.

found a verse that encourages me, 2 Timothy 1:12 says "That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day." -
