God loves you & I love you, Dr Who. Pls forgive me. {Hug & kiss}Originally posted by Dr Who:I noticed that Christians in Singapore are mainly Chinese, with some Indians and Ang-Mohs.
How come got no Malays?
Is it because no evangelism? Because against the law? Because Malay culture incompatible with Christianity? Because Islam is more attractive to Malays?
Or is it Christians don't care? I have never heard any christian pray for the souls of the Malays........yah, they pray for All the lost souls.......but I doubt if they consciously include this particular people in their minds.................

u want to know for what? betray Allah ah?Originally posted by muleesa:i am malay muslim. i have a question, how to become a christian? i need to know . do we need to attend the baptist ceremony to become christian.
Shocking to see such reply to a seemingly innocent question asked by a first timer in EH. I thought it is a good opportunity to intro the christian salvation to a malay muslim.Originally posted by Icemoon:u want to know for what? betray Allah ah?
Being a Christian is to believe in the one and only true God who created the heaven and the earth and be reconciled with Him through Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that "if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Roman 10:9.Originally posted by muleesa:i am malay muslim. i have a question, how to become a christian? i need to know . do we need to attend the baptist ceremony to become christian.
icemoon is not a christian. He is a rojak.Originally posted by sgdiehard:Shocking to see such reply to a seemingly innocent question asked by a first timer in EH. I thought it is a good opportunity to intro the christian salvation to a malay muslim.
Jesus asked all Christians to preach the gospel to all people in the world, He did not say those who already had religion are excluded. Why do you need to know the reason for asking? or you have decided that malay muslim cannot be christian?
Are you a malay?Originally posted by laurence82:a) The Malay Muslim community is a tight knitted community, so any conversion is a family or community issue
b) The laws have never forbid conversion, not even in Malaysia or Indonesia, but is much advised against. Again, look at point A
c) Middle Eastern issues, and much angst against Christians. It not whether they are wrong or right, just that its a sensitive issue when it comes to Christianity and their misgivings

Easy, I mixed around with Malays, more than other Chinese
Why war against terrorism doesnt work? Think again, its not just about what is right what is wrong.
Why would the hindus be targeted? I thot they are peace loving ppl? Why call them stubborn? Are u a fanatic? Does muslim=fanatic? I dont think so. Or do u think so my friend?Originally posted by laurence82:While Indonesia is predominatly Muslim, there is a significant number of Christians.
You can tell by the violence in Sulawesi alone. One of the reason Bali is targeted by terrorists because its a stubborn Hindu enclave in the middle of Muslim majority - ST article.
So not much abt the religius mix of people in Indonesia too.
