I am still wondering why in the movie The Sign, Mel Gibson (a retired church minister who was married) was known as Father throughout the movie. -
Then Mel Gibson's role in The Sign is what denomination? I really wonder. Cuz I watched with a non Christian friend who knew little about Christianity and denominations. He started asking whether Mel Gibson's role is a Catholic Priest. My answer is no..... We all know Catholic Priests dun get married one mah. But in the movie, he had a wife and a kid. The wife died in an accident so he was very sad & he quitted from his church ministry. Nearer My God to Thee isnt hardly a good song to boost the flagging morale of the passengers of Titanic
I believed they played Autumn, but they didnt get to the end of the piece. All members of the band perished.

hmmm the anglican denomination is quite hard to describe. we r under the See of Canterbury and we accept the Archbishop of Canterbury(ABC) as the Primate aka 'First among equals' (there r many of these weird and cheem angmoh terms in anglicanism) and a tool of unity. Notably, we must know that the Church of England is not Roman Catholicism and we dun pay homage and answer to the ABC as if he is the Roman Supreme Pontiff and this is what makes us differ from RC among other doctrinal differences.
So a Diocese of any nation will have its own Bishop and likewise for a Province, Archbishop. There is no longer any political relationship between the Queen and the ABC and therefore no intereference from them.
