They had one of these ministry in Kedah. But i think they've moved somewhere.
There were a few books published about that ministry, basically about kids(not above 13yrs old) praying and worshipping together with the adults.
Taking notes and listen attentively to the weekly sermon.
The most interesting character of that ministry is - the children will always be the one to minister to the adults and youths.
Ministering are 3-4hrs worth of time in a single sitting of sermon.
Very strong in displaying gifts of the spirit, esp the kids.
I planned to go there few years back. But they've shifted.
I heard there's another one in Oz.

When I first heard that my church is embarking on this route and after hearing the various justifications, it struck me as a no-brainer. The model in Kedah may not be replicable in Singapore. I'd say only about less than 40% of the original model still exists, and I feel the percentage is decreasing.
I am a realist - I look at feasibility studies, the statistics, the objectives etc etc. Sure these folks can pray all they want, but if the objective is unrealistic and the manpower is insufficient, I'd be very concern. -

No other ministry should try to develop or simulate a similiar platform to work on. I would attribute their gifings of children ministry to the 'calling of God'

Of course, we all know that inspite of the intentions, such a philosophy does not work.
They've embraced the culture for a rather long time until recently, they started the children ministry.
From what i've observed from that church, there was no problem in having children in adult worship service.
Just a model church, i don't know about the rest.

the children are the infants, toddlers, primary schoolies.. this is what my church did:
- ministry formed to meet the needs of our parents during worship service
- getting church regulars to serve in this specific ministry / sunday school
- to look after these children in two rooms beside the worship hall. So their parents can enjoy worship and concentrate well during the sermons
- the primary schoolies attend the sunday schools right after worship
we are asked to be tolerant to our children, allow them to worship God together in the sanctuary.
