It is easy to pump ratings..
Just reload a thread many times. Pump the number of views up. Naturally the ratings will go up.
If you are familiar with HTML. Just write a frame and reload the same page at regular intervals. Then look at the ratings at the end of the month.
Try it on a relatively low rating forum to see the effect. -

By now we know everyone is free to read and post. We can't control their reaction but we can control ours.
We also know that there are people sincerely looking for answers and there are also people who are just to make a nuisance of themselves. Frankly, sometimes it's hard to tell which is which. I trust that every visitor here will use their own judgement to differentiate that.
I believe seeds can be sown here. Crows will appear time to time. Scarecrows may effective for sometime, but after a while the crows will come back. We just have to keep sowing and fertilising. So let's keep on sowing
