Preaching?

Dear brothers and sisters,
after reading several articles on the topic of proselyting in schools, BB, hospitals and clinics; i am in no way surprised about what the articles mentioned.
I agree with the people who complained about christians preaching to them, their terminally illed mother, teenage son etc...
Mission schools should be a genuine expression of the love of God in providing education for the general public without discrimination. Same thing goes to mission hospitals, mission kindercare and many more along the same catergory. You raised the funds to set up these, you provide the service and at the same time show the love of Christ and His examples. Worship services and fellowship for those who claimed to be Christians are welcomed but forceful preaching to those who are not is in the first place not biblical. The Bible reveal to us ONE Christ and indeed Jesus commanded us to make disciples of all nations. All these, please do so in obedience and humility and also without pressurising them.
Dont bear that mindset that by forcing and being pushy, someone can become a follower..dont try to act like God asif u can save.
Let this wonderful episode be a good encouragement and reminder to us that we are not desperate for attendance to increase. The world has enough discernment to know what is right for them, let us respect them. When asked about our faith and when being questioned, you have your own personal testimony to share. When you ask someone to church, be ready to accept No as an answer.
No forcing pls. God never do that to us. So go and do likewise.
Continue to shine, but dont be a glaring and irritating highbeam light.

frankly, i am not pushy when i preach la. in fact, i seldom, if ever, preached to anyone.
i don't feel the urgency somehow when its strangers.. but when my loved ones like parents etc are involved.. of course pushy la... urgency and desperation is felt mah.
so i guess non-christians should love me because i don't give a damn whether they fry or not. funny logic they have right? lol
i quote my "satanic" friend: "the only reason why i still befriend you, after you become a christian, is because you don't preach to me."

whether the person received Christ on the debut when he/she heard the good news, it's call for God's divine intervention.

they are trying to help you and pray for you and yet u guyz don't apperciate thier effort for doing all these...........some 1 who is a stranger to you praying for you think about that who will do that.....except for those preachers

Jesus in His 3 years of public ministry is more of a friend to the people than a preacher. i have learnt that better ways of reaching out to friends is through geninue concern and care even if he or she does not believe through your lifetime - God will do the rest in His time.

They should realise during those 3 years; he is everything to everybody, and in him there is indeed no lack.
