But up to now i still dont understand what the chant is all about? I heard from my frens in soka they chant everytime, but when i ask them what they chant abt they dont know. Eh i think not love Christianity but love the Lord Jesus Christ & God & repent & believe He is the Son of God to forgive our sins. What religion is not political? Even Thailand adopts buddhism as official religion & dont mention the islamic countries like Malaysia & Japan shintoism etc. Can the Thai PM say he is not a buddhist or not respect the monks there? Can the Japs stop worshipping their war crime ancestors in the shrine? Can M'sian PM not wear the songkok or not go to mosque etc? Only S'pore very special. You don't even understand what the gift of tongues is about and the understanding of language of tongues.
What makes you want to question the soka believers of their chants?
They don't know about theirs, you also don't know yours.
Why you ask them still?
When both you and them doesn't make any difference.

To digress a little here. One of problems EH is facing now is the inability to write one's question clearly. How often has it been nowadays that many of the alumnis here are trying to guess what the questions are? Ask too many times, it makes the person who is trying to help sound extremely difficult. -

Bcos we dont learn our tongues like they do. The Holy Spirit speaks on His own & nobody can understand or copy. Each has unique tongue & it can change according to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit can even speak in a foreign language thru someone, for eg, a chinese speak indian lang, or englishman speak cantonese dialect. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Yes, that's why i say i dont understand why we speak in tongues. Even satanists can speak satanic tongues. So i just want to learn more, that's all. I do know they also have prosperity & healing blessings thru their chanting bcos i heard testimonies from my frens that it works. So what or who is the source? Just some doubts on my own, that's all. -
Paul did say in Corinthians that he wished all speak in tongues like he did & do not forbid to speak in tongues but do it orderly.
