Similarly, the disasters in Pakistan affect everyone, good or evil. I guess JTB didnt clearly see schools collapsing and babies taken out of rubbles.

I don't know man... I guess the people who believe natural disasters r caused by god must really believe he likes to kill people based on his god's standard. If u look at history, mankind faced wose earthquake before (1556 shanxi). faced worse diesease (black death) and in terms of conflicts the casualties of conflicts now pale in comparison with WW1 or WW2. And all of them means really nothing and judgement day appears to be as near as any other time in history.

I have to agree with you that attributing disasters to sinfulness of people can be seen by others as xin zai le huo. There are many types of christians. Some are over-zealous and want to related every world events to bible prophecies. Sometimes it could be true but still don't focus too much on attributing the disasters lo. There are also other type of christians who will pray for them and mourn with the victims. They are the spiritually more mature one. -

There might just be a tsunami even bigger than the indo one in S'pore. Just a prediction only by expert in the newspapers ST. It might happen bcos data seems to show quakes moving north. Ok dont get into the sin fight again. I admit whether sinful or not, it might just hit so be prepared whether Christian or not. I didnt say definitely & pls read the latest papers. It wasnt i who "prophesied" or brought it up. Its the expert! Pls pray for S'pore.
