I concur....Originally posted by SocialOutcast:Shade: Did jesus christ advocated going around telling people that christianity is the one and only religion and the one and only way to reach god??
Erm...actually he did.
And Jesus christ paid for our sins. Doest this shows the exisistence of karma? If he hadnt die for us, perhaps we would be suffering even more badly.
I see no link to karma leh. Sin is not equivalent to suffering. And are you sure by Christ's death the world suffered less? ie People before ~30 AD suffer more than people after ~30AD? Don't think so.
The price of sin is suffering. So when jesus died for us, he suffered in place for us.Originally posted by SocialOutcast:Shade: Did jesus christ advocated going around telling people that christianity is the one and only religion and the one and only way to reach god??

Exactly....and you are saying man is qualified to be a spokesman for god after they go around condemning each other?Originally posted by laoda99:Note that all denominations which adhere to the bible believe that Christ is THE WAY.....not 'A WAY'...
Why does different factions of other religions condemn each other? Becoz we are man.....
Yes Christians are spokesman for God. And I will speak up to rebuke if necessary.

And no. Jesus never went around telling people that christianity was h eone and only religion. He only told people to follow God's way. He never said his was the one and only way.
Your intepretation of the bible, as usual, smacks of arrogance.

He DID said his was the one and only way.
Your intepretation of the bible is typical of cults which view Christ as one of the gods or a demigod. A Christian will only worship Christ and no other gods.
If u insist, stick to your own intepretation.Originally posted by shade343:
Nope. He never said that. It was YOU who said that.
Of course, you are also free to stick to your own opinions.Originally posted by laoda99:If u insist, stick to your own intepretation.

Are you sure those Africans with AIDS are predominantly Christians and Muslims?Originally posted by laurence82:Not to mention the state India is in got nothing to do with Hinduism.
The same problems he mentioned exist on the same level -povery, AIDS etc - in Africa, for example, with fair number of Christians and Muslims.
Can I say the same thing for Christianity and Islam?
I think because of such bigotry, the world problems cant never be solved
