if two different person shared the same events, their experiences are unique to their own. i'd treat them as story-telling if they are second hand accounts. sometimes, we can't even trust ourselves to be telling the truth.Originally posted by happyharvest:Sorry... Look at it this way....
1. you can write about how healing came to a friend of a friend of a friend.
2. or the friend (or you) shared about how God healed you?
While even coming from you, I don't know you personally and there is also no way to verify whether the sharing is true or not, but at least it is a first hand story and I will give you the benefit of doubt out of respect for you.
For most parts, when a Christian brother/sister forward emails (that we all get all the time) about blessings/healings/testimonies, there are no ways to verify them because the events either took place far away or with people we don't know. -

Err... IYO, then EH should be a place for wat? I mean it is they who start challenging our belief, so should we defend it or at least answer them?

But The Great Flood in Genesis had a very very clear agenda. And All who reads the bible should know why God sent the flood.
So the purpose is clear in Genesis.
It's not a good comparision.
