if two different person shared the same events, their experiences are unique to their own. i'd treat them as story-telling if they are second hand accounts. sometimes, we can't even trust ourselves to be telling the truth.Originally posted by happyharvest:Sorry... I re-read and saw something. Just some questions la. Can a person experience what other people experience becos he/she has first-hand contact with that person? If that person experience it and trust in the sharer, wouldn't he/she be allow to share it to other people becos he is convicted it is true? Just listen to other people testimony/witness -- would you believe them? Or just treat it as a story-telling time? I dunno how most other people do.

Welcome back.Originally posted by Chin Eng:Was catching a flight home, not going away.
Finally back home.....
Look at it this way....
1. you can write about how healing came to a friend of a friend of a friend.
2. or the friend (or you) shared about how God healed you?
While even coming from you, I don't know you personally and there is also no way to verify whether the sharing is true or not, but at least it is a first hand story and I will give you the benefit of doubt out of respect for you.
For most parts, when a Christian brother/sister forward emails (that we all get all the time) about blessings/healings/testimonies, there are no ways to verify them because the events either took place far away or with people we don't know.
That is nuts.Originally posted by happyharvest:Actually if they see this a Christian thread and if they feel uncomfortable with Christianity, they have the responsiblity to not enter this forum. In other Christian forums, they also experience the same thing but their moderators are effective and have more power to moderate....
We, as a responsible Christian should talk Christian thingy within EH. And non-christian, as a responsible homo sapien (sp?) should not come in just to attack Christian belief. But then, dunno for wat reason, christian stuffs and religion stuffs always will get into other forums.
Err... IYO, then EH should be a place for wat? I mean it is they who start challenging our belief, so should we defend it or at least answer them?
Okay lar, I'm an inexperience lad, give advise if I get it wrong.

Err....excuse me. I was saying condemning other religion in EH lar. I was saying that we share knowledge of our faith here lar. But you only see a few of the people like to condemn other religion lo. I think I din ever condemn except question a bit here and there ba.Originally posted by laurence82:That is nuts.
I can start my racist blog, and if you choose not to view if it offend you.
With regards to the latest brouhaha over the breaches of Sedition Act, you think this kind of argument hold water?
Then refer to the John the Baptist thread where i talk abt fanatics and the harm one group of people can cause thru their words and actions....Originally posted by happyharvest:Err....excuse me. What is past is past. Don't keep holding on to grudges. They are heavy. Well, maybe some is strong enough to carry. I dunno.
So can condemn or hint in another forum rite?Originally posted by happyharvest:Err....excuse me. I was saying condemning other religion in EH lar. Why did the U.S. want to do that?Originally posted by fandango:Some conspiracy theorist says that Katrina and Rita are results of U.S. Scalar Technology. i.e. Weapons that can create or increase the "strength" of natural disasters and weather.
I will subscribe more to this theory because we have it in singapore too, on a smaller scale: Rainless National Days as a result of Rain Seeding.
Me tooOriginally posted by earthlings73:Cool! I was about to say something..
It's great for Christians to moderate Christians' views..
I'm not sure if i can agree with you.Originally posted by photo_seeker:If you ask why the innocent one had also perished during the Hurricane Katrina, why not you think why did God send the flood down during Noah's time? You will never know why God decide to do something until the day of His second coming.
