He was hanging there. He would have needed a lot of strength to breathe. After some time, he would run out of strength, breathe less and eventually stop breathing. -

Hmm... I believe that the time is nearer. The thing happening today seems to match what is decribed in the bible. We are much closer to the hour of trial than before. But I don't think it is that immediate yet. Afterall, we still have to watch and watch. What if we said it is very near then people question it has passed so many years yet nothing happen. Then people starts to lose faith. I think we should not come to any conclusion yet. Furthermore, there are still many people not heard of the Gospel yet. I have been thinking if it is possible to reach out to everybody who has not heard of the Gospel within 20 years to 30 years. The bible tells us that all must hear the Gospel first before the end will come. This leads me to think if this will carry over to the tribulation period. Whatever it is, I believe we are closer ... -

the bible already states explicitly that no one will know.
so we should juz carry on as normal. i mean whether or not the End Days are coming we should still show urgency in spreading the Gospel and God's love in general -

The warning is not to scare ppl altho we r all scared. I also said encouragement to those walking right with God no matter how much ridicule or suffering we r going thru. Christians r not holy people per se. Bcos if we r, we don't need Christ Jesus to forgive us in the first place. Only sinners need forgiveness.

Well i see no problem in ppl joining MLM cos. Most people r impressionable one way or another. It's just the degree of impressionability. Anyway, we r impressioned & conditioned from young abt ourselves & others etc. There's no one right view so we should be more forgiving of others when they anger us bcos no two person see the same perspective EXACTLY. I like motivational seminars also, just don't trust completely in them. The real complete trust should be in Jesus & His saving blood. Take everyday as it comes, treasure it as if there is no tomorrow, for you might be called home tomorrow, your end day before The End Days.
I don't see much courage in putting up a message like that on the forum, go to Raffles Square during lunch time and speak up, thats what the real John the Baptist did in his days, then you are showing real courage.
Its a good start anyway, but don't stop here and don't stop at just shouting. -

John was beheaded by king herod & Jesus was crucified by the Roman governor Pilate after severe beating. That's why i say being John the Baptist was very difficult & fatal.
