Nope. Even during a preemptive strike, the whole country will be on mob, even tho the 21st Division and the Commandoes, plus the air force will be the first to attack.Originally posted by Icemoon:Only when the unthinkable happens .. like water supply kenna cut off. Pre-emptive refers more to the strike force, like air force and commmandos?
Unless we are going to full scale war, I don't think they will recall those not on alert red or amber.
If it is a preemptive strike, then obviously the prawns in SAF like us won't know a thing. We won't look out for our codes on TV and radio. So many of us will be enjoying ourselves. How can the whole country be on mob this way? You call this state of mentality "on mob"? So if everyone's codes start flashing on TV, there will be panic, panic and more panic. Haha .. call this a preemptive strike?Originally posted by laurence82:Nope. i mean, why would they attack someone else and leave half the army straggling?
The point is, during this time, they got a chance to book a ticket out of SG? Unless the Mindef is as fast as the pony express, i am sure they need to restrict air travel, mainly because its restrict airspace and interfere with FOE indentification.Originally posted by Icemoon:If it is a preemptive strike, then obviously the prawns in SAF like us won't know a thing. The half of army are reinforcement.
I think it is still possible, unless they refuse to sell males like us a ticket or bar us from taking a flight at the airport.Originally posted by laurence82:The point is, during this time, they got a chance to book a ticket out of SG? IMHO, the nature of pre-emptive strike means mindef will keep it cool, meaning they will not want any panic from its citizens. Honestly I dunno how credible is the Mersing Line theory 'cos we might need a lot of troops for such an op. If SAF could threaten their few key installations with air force and commandos, it will be more effective.
No. Probably just make 'group 1' EXTREMIST... You know..? Like those TERRORIST...?Originally posted by Icemoon:There seems to be an unwritten truth about the faith - that Christ is the only way to salvation and if you don't believe in Christ you are &^*^(^(&). Unwritten 'cos nowhere does it state explicitly if you don't believe in Him you are ^^(^^*)&*&).
I start this topic 'cos there seems to be two kinds of Christians today:
1. The direct and vocal one. Those who dare to "criticise" and "condemn" other religions' followers to ((&&^^^(&()&.
2. The diplomatic Christian. They say all diplomatic things like "oh we are no different from other sinners", "we shouldn't condemn other people to (^^^*(()".
Note that I don't mean group 1 people go around condemning other people. They are just more direct in their "logic of salvation" - we are all sinners; we will ALL go to &(&&)& without Christ; I accepted Christ so I have salvation; I regret to inform you since you don't believe in Him you will land up in the default place.
My question is, since group 2 ultimately believe in the same thing as group 1, does that make group 2 hypocrites?
