Dealing with people

As a Christian, how did you deal with annoying people?
As for me, at first I may feel irritated but as time goes by and I see if he/she is by nature to be annoying, I will keep silent next time. Sometimes maybe ignoring them. But it really depends on situation and mood and how much the truth of God's words I have internalized. At the same time, keeping the words of God in your hearts do help.
But then, when all things don't goes well and the annoying people come, how would you handle such person? Silence and pretending not to listen is the most popular strategy people used, I guess. But I think it rather rude to do that.
So what do you people normally do when handling annoying and irritating person? Any good strategies?

How do I deal with annoying people?
Simply ignore them or keep a distance from them. Even in this forum. There ARE some people I wanna avoid contact or talking to. This is one way. And it's also my style. Dunno about yours...
I agree that ignoring them is relatively rude, but be wise, know when to speak up and when to hold a silent warfare. If he/she ever changes for the better, forgive him/her back and accept him/her as a friend again. If not, continue the silent warfare till eternity.
