But then I would say we're faced with situations to "die to ourselves" daily knowingly or unknowingly right? It takes a conscious effort to do this. And when we do, then we can align our lives to God's will. -
Look at the apostle Peter .. he was together with the Lord and the latter even declared him as the "rock". He saw miracles by the Lord, even was priviledged to see the transfiguration. But look what happened later.
I know what some of you will say you have the Holy Spirit like the apostles after Pentecost .. but hey let's be realistic ..

Yes, leave it to God. We might not even die of martyrdom. Who knows we might still be alive at the end of tribulation if post tribbers r correct? But pls don't feel superior or inferior if one doesn't die or do die as a martyr. Privilege to die as martyr but also privilege to be saved by God. So we r equal but i suspect that martyrs have greater reward. Dont know just suspect. Who knows for sure lah? Correct lah but very difficult sometimes. But God knows our hearts. Always be prepared to seek God's forgiveness if we fail or scold someone. & try to reconcile but sometimes more difficult practically than theoretically.
