Of course, colonisation by the Europeans in the last 2 centuries also helped to cement the status of the Religion in this part of the world..

  Yes, and that is based on the 2000 census because it is the latest. We have a new census every decade (1980, 1990, 2000, etc).
  
  Buddhist 42.5%, Muslim 14.9%, Taoist 8.5%, Hindu 4%, Catholic 4.8%, other Christian 9.8%, other 0.7%, none 14.8% (2000 census)
  
  It is also true that Christianity rank higher than Taoism in terms of percentage.

  There are about 470 protestant churches and about 49 Catholics churches in Singapore. Have not updated yet, so maybe got more.
  
  So total around 519 churches in Singapore.
