Your english CMI .. also dunno what is your point.Originally posted by James1:That leads me to a wonder of whether in Singapore, are there church more or temper? and also is the Christian beening the largest population in Singapore? In worldwide, YES!!!
I have a hard time understanding what you wrote. I guess there are more churches than temple in Singapore. No, in Singapore, Buddhism has the highest population. If I'm not wrong Christianity ranked number 3 or 4 in position. But when we say globally, Christianity has the largest population, followed by Isalm. Buddhism ranked number 6 in position.Originally posted by James1:That leads me to a wonder of whether in Singapore, are there church more or temper? and also is the Christian beening the largest population in Singapore? This is fun. I wanna get a packet of potato chip ready.Originally posted by Icemoon:oh ya .. u better prepare your "defense".
I can almost see what is coming - laurence will come in question your purpose in comparing temples and churches. If things get tougher, heng will also join in. SIS might join in if he's free.
IMHO .. the comparison between church and temple is uncalled for. very much arrogant. More churches .. so what? titanium vs. wood .. so what?Originally posted by happyharvest:This is fun. I wanna get a packet of potato chip ready.

Also the topic is a flame bait - comparing of xtian and non .. laurence sure flares up when he reads it.
Singapore's Religion Census:Originally posted by James1:That leads me to a wonder of whether in Singapore, are there church more or temper? and also is the Christian beening the largest population in Singapore? In worldwide, YES!!!
this is outdated.Originally posted by An Eternal Now:Singapore's Religion Census:

5 years is quite little for a sharp change.Originally posted by happyharvest:this is outdated.
Sorry to correct a slight mistake: Buddhism is 4th in position.Originally posted by happyharvest:I have a hard time understanding what you wrote. If anyone has the latest statistic, please post here.
Forgive me but i think u should read the newspapers. The latest statistic just came out a few mths back in ST Life! abt "God is great in S'pore" w/c states that more than 80% of ppl in S'pore believe in God. & they mean all the Buddhists, Taoists, Muslims, Catholics, Christians etc who believe in some form of higher power or God. & Christians r still the minority in S'pore with only abt 10+%. Bad engrish doesn't mean don't read newspapers. No harm intended here. Pls don't scold me now.Originally posted by James1:That leads me to a wonder of whether in Singapore, are there church more or temper? and also is the Christian beening the largest population in Singapore? Having more churchs does not mean you have more Christians.Originally posted by James1:That leads me to a wonder of whether in Singapore, are there church more or temper? and also is the Christian beening the largest population in Singapore? In worldwide, YES!!!
