  I worship with my immediate family. I also have a group of friends that grew up together, got married, now have children. We hang out together all the time and even go for holidays together (time and money permitting).
  
  Purposes of the church should be:
  1. Allow worshippers to be together to worship God. (INTERNAL OBJECTIVE)
  2. Serves as a testimony to the neighbourhood through it's message as well as it's deeds. (EXTERNAL OBJECTIVE)
  
  Does not necessary mean that these objectives are achieved all the time...

  I think a certain church in Boon Lay achieves 1 magnificantly but fails utterly in 2.

  There are always prons and cons. Afterall, it is between the founder of the church and God.
