So I decided to observe them because I want to learn to be a good christian but then as I find out more, the more I am disappointed. I realise that being a Christian doesn't mean you will be holy, you will be good, you will have a good life and most importantly you will not sin. It is really a relationship with God and as you walk each day with Him, let Him change you so that the fruits of the Spirit is evident in your life. Have you really understood God's word? Have you understood God's plan for you? Have you know His will in your life?

So I was closer to the church friends than my classmates.
I would love to be back to that but now in this new neighbourhood, hardly know anybody. The people here are just so different. (used to be East side, now move to the West. Ya, a big paradigm shift!) East side got more Christians and more English speaking people. The Christians are really active in church. Even the students attend Church Mass during the weekdays. Last time I used to see them in school uniforms, which means they went to church straight after school.
Over here in the West side, I can't really make a fair comparison cuz there are fewer Christians here. Just take a look at the number of Catholic churches and you will know. Protestant Churches also far less than in the East side. Last time in the East side, every time I took a bus, I see a church (some are big ones like Church of Singapore while some are very small like shophouses). But on the whole I see a lot of them. Even on one same street, you will see a Catholic School on one side and a Methodist Church on the other.
Unlike here. I only see the church that I am attending. No Protestant Church at all in this estate. Very strange hor? (Icemoon, if your New Creation Church wants to move out of Suntec, suggest the west side. Not enough Christians here...heheheh)
Many taoists and buddhists, cuz the market is always selling offering stuff for the prayers. Even the one and only florist only sell flowers like Chrysathemum, which is likely only for temple.

CHC is probably the only one cuz it's in Jurong West (aka Boon Lay).
Queenstown is considered a bit to the central side already... not very west side. -
in s'pore i hang out in church pretty often... coz its juz opposite my place and my friends also congregate there. sometime juz pop by for a chat.
in australia... its really different... the youths are not really enthusiastic. so i keep myself busy with organising catholic activities in uni. also i make it a point to attend both masses on weekends and to attend weekday masses when i am free bah
