How many times a week did you hang out at Church or meet with fellow Christians for Christian stuffs?

even my cousins who are staunch Catholics in Malaysia only meet at most once a week in their church to discuss christians issues or to attend mass, thats all
to be honest, this whole thing abt cell groups and weekly, and some time bi or tri weekly meetings is what i seen lately.. -
I think this is so because the hour is getting nearer than before. China and India are some examples. More and more people there are placing faith in Jesus (as compare in the past) because of missionary and window 10/40. -

Anyway, didn't Jesus say the gate to heaven is narrow & only few find it? But the way to hell is broad like an expressway? Can we blame Christians or God for this? Bcos ppl are cowardly or forced to renounce faith by dictators or risk execution? We r very fortunate in S'pore with freedom of religion. Wait till we are born in China or Mideast. Then do we really dare to proclaim that we r Christians publicly? That's where the rudder meets the rope. its the people, a whole bunch of people who just want to look good on the outside. its a long story but they are just not ideal people to hang around with. -

Juz that they decided to place their faith in Christ. You attend church to understand more of God's word mah and learn to apply lo. Maybe other christian forumers can contribute to more reason why It is important to attend church. -
well, i don't really believe in messages. all that application in life stuff, what can be so complicated? last time i listened to the messages and to me, its just boring stuff, telling me to do things i already know.
in the end, its up to you, do u wanna apply it? you don't need lessons, u need willpower and common sense, and the simplest way to do things is, before doing it, ask urself "What would God think?"
but then I don't ask myself that anymore, I've become a rebel. A child who doesn't listen to daddy. -
Christianity is all about relationship with God - a personal one. So dun compare Christian lar. Also at the same time, check yourself too. I dun consider myself a good christian too and I deem other christian to be good. So I decided to observe them because I want to learn to be a good christian but then as I find out more, the more I am disappointed. I realise that being a Christian doesn't mean you will be holy, you will be good, you will have a good life and most importantly you will not sin. It is really a relationship with God and as you walk each day with Him, let Him change you so that the fruits of the Spirit is evident in your life. Have you really understood God's word? Have you understood God's plan for you?
