Does God control the weather? Does He send deadly storms? -

1) God may cause the disaster on purpose as a kind of warning BUT He did not intend to destroy all living creatures.
2) This may be caused by the consequences of sin. The earth is subjected to all these because of the curse God had on the earth when Adam and Eve sin. So all these are just natural occurances. The reason these happen may be because God simply allow it to happen. People do not see God and so God do not want to bless the people and the nation with fine weather. a. No. The bible is clear that he is a Sovereign God. We simply cannot understand all the details of the divine plan because of our finite mind.

God does control weather. many a times in the morning it was raining very heavily before i go school but i pray n pray for the rain to stop n it did. miracle! =)

Yes, the Lord controls the weather, and i know many a times His actions can be terrifying but his ways are not our ways... Our ways means easy, comfort and security but that is not his ways. And his ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9)
But the Lord is one that takes responsible actions, Jesus was his way of taking responsibilty. And whatever it is, your faith is the most important.
Faith is being defined as the continuation of believing in God even though reality doesn't give you a chance to. Whatever unjust you had suffered, as long as you continue to believe in Him, He will repay you back in Heaven.. -

Yes god controls the weather but it is not his fault if there are things like floods and tsunamis, he does not want all this to happen but he has no other choice, everyone has to suffer for the bad karma they have created for themselves. God tried to warn us thru our conscious that it is wrong but we just didnÂ’t listen and kept doing it so now we just have to accept the suffering that come with it. Suffering is the only way to burn bad karma you know, so god is actually helping us

Last year, someone posted a topic that that state the tsunami was sent by god against non christian countries
these last two weeks, two topics on the katrina was posted, one in club 30, one in chit chat, same thing, the storm is atrributed to god sending natural disasters to the sinful people of new orleans
let me state that thousands of people who are now dead is no joke
in fact, u can say that we prolly dont know all these people who are dead, we are not in a position to judge whether these people have led a sinful lives or not
like some people did say, let the first to cast stone be sinless
if u guys are mature christians, and that you do have compassion for fellow human beings, pls do pray for the safety of the survivors and also for those who just passed
