If you believe God attribute is sovereign and omni potent.

It is part of a chemical process.
Just take a vacant house for example. When the house is not taken care of and not occupied for decades, the windows and doors will start to fall apart.
Even if there is maintenance, some of the parts have to be replaced.
Likewise for cars.
Our human body works the same way except that most of the things in our body cannot be replaced. Eg will be human brain cells which cannot be reproduced.
Because everything has to be renewed every now and then.
Our cells also have to die after some time and grow new cells.
Likewise, old living things have to die and let the new ones grow.
Why everything has to do with sin and penalty?
Paper, cars and houses commit sins meh?
