An appointment okay, no matter what, let us face it.
Every man will surely DIE one day, so the question is what happens?
Of course, many will argue:
1. Aiya, dun bother, none of my business.
2. Chey, let us wait till our soul spurt out of our body and sees the 'third' world.
3. DIE DIE lor, cos everybody oso will die.
4. No problem, I have a god who will save me from going to where i shoud not go-HELL.
5. They say nothing exist beyond death.
One thing is certain: NOBODY ESCAPES.
Look, even the mighty men of yesterday lie buried today in their graves. Hai, sad life...
However, believe it or not, thr truth is all of us is considered sinners- the wicked. (don't tell me you are perfect?)
Being a sinner do not only mean doing wrong things, it means not doing what is correct also. We had shown signs of defiance when we are young, told a small lie to our parents, these are things which we should not have done if we are perfect. If we are perfect, we will b able to understand how our parents felt and put ourselves in their shoe.
Everybody on this earth is a sinner, this includes u and i. Being a sinner, no man can work his way to heaven. In life there are many choices, but after death either heaven or hell. Friends, of course everybody desires to go heaven, but no matter how much good works you care to do, the fact remains that we will be punished of whatever sins because sin caused us to be condemned before a holy and just God.
Dunno why la, but because God is Holy and righteous, (like why do we have two hands?) so he punishes us. Not because he is evil, but his justice does not allow sin to go unpunished.
Yet, the GOOD NEWS is he had pity on us, in LOVE, gave us a means of escape from HELL. Thats the simple reason Jesus came, He died to pay the penalty of sin for many.
But... salvation only comes to those the moment we submit your heart to God through faith in Jesus Christ, believing that all He did was truly for us, that we are all sinners. And you are saved.
If not, Hell awaits all sinners.
That is the first step to salvation. God did not want us to go Hell, but to heaven to be with him... for eternal.
Finally, this is what God wish to tell us, however it is up to our own decision to accept or reject. We are created to have a choice in all we do, choose your destiny. =)
