Are people in the world going to have chips implanted in their body soon? Is this the mark of beast the bible refering to? Are we really the final generation? Oh dear.....
The chip got FDA approval in October 2004. Since then, Silverman says, some 2,000 people worldwide are using them for medical or security purposes. But soon he expects that millions of people will get VeriChip implants every year.

Former Wisconsin Gov. Tommy Thompson has volunteered to get an RFID electronic chip implant to show the world just how safe the new technology is.
The former secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services in President Bush's first term sees it as a potentially life-saving move because the chip will have details of his medical history should he ever be in an accident.
Thompson will be among the first humans to get the chip. Pets have been routinely chipped at pounds and veterinarians' offices in recent years.

One provision requires that new passports be equipped with "biometric identifiers" capable of being read by machines -- in essence, a chip with personal identification information. The law also said foreigners who want to come to the U.S. without a visa (as is allowed for visitors from Europe, Japan, and some other countries) must carry a passport with the same technology

Seriously you guys are paranoid. The Beast was a reference to Emperor Nero of Rome. The number 666 was a secret code for the Emperor. It seems like prophets of doom these days like to confuse the Beast with Lucifer. Maybe it is just me.

Yes, I'm aware there are people who think that the Beast was a reference to Emperor Nero of Rome. This, in my opinion, may not accurate. Careful studying of the bible would tell us that this is not true. I have read some sources that explain how this is not true. If I remember which articles, I put up there lo. At this point of moment, I think it is too early to conclude. It would and might lead to wrong speculations. Jesus told us to "watch!". So we watch how things and events are unfolding until there are signs that stongly match what the bible is prophesying lo. Watch for signs! More signs are coming.....
