ooo on the note abt the serpent ... i remember some time ago i attended this talk... the spreaker was aying something that the serpent mentioned in the bible isn't a serpent like in the sense of the word. but rather a majestic creature of some sort...
i forgot how the exact details.. anybody has the insights on this to share?? -

He has no view, if you look at all his arguments. Sometimes he tries to use an atheist's position. But when he's losing the argument, he will start quoting the bible and say our church teach us wrong. Atheists are not supposed to believe in the bible and how can a person who doesn't believe in the bible understand the scripture at all?

and one of most important part of Genesis chapter 3, God had plans to have victory over the evil one

Hmm... back to answer your question. Well, the answer is simple: the period between birth and death is called life. But then why do man has to die or anticipate death anytime once one is born? This is meaningless and people starts to create their own philosophies and setup religion to answer this burning question. Maybe it is this, maybe it is like that ... and etc. The bible is clear why man has to die. We are destined to die ( because of the fall of man) once and then face judgement.
