Calvinism or Arminianism ?

I find no point arguing over Arminianism or Calvinism or mixture of both. Only get ourselves confused bcos most of us r not theologians & i m sure not many want to be one. Am i right?
Let's leave all this arguing to the academics, but meanwhile those of us who aren't academics or bible college grads who major in Theology should just leave it or get our brains burned. We don't need a PHD to be a Christian or suffer permanent head damage(PHD). Any simple ah beng or ah lian or fishmonger or hawker can be one. Peter, Andrew, John & James were fishermen lah. The rest were tax collectors, prostitutes, sinners, sick & demonised ppl. So how did this kind of so called high sounding words come abt?
The main crux of the matter is this: Is your life changed by God's grace after u accepted Christ Jesus- i.e. after u confessed your sins & accept His forgiveness, has your life changed for the better & i don't mean financially, healthwise etc? Altho we can be healed & prospered after acepting Christ. Do u still dare to say u are a Christian in front of all the mockers & persecutors? This is the crux. Dare to confess Jesus in front of everyone even at the point of death. -

Yes, i agree Paul was a learned man but who was Saul then? He & many others killed Stephen just bcos Stephen took care of the poor widows in Acts. Anyway learned or not, Saul later Paul couldn't argue with God so he & others had to stop God's mouth by executing Stephen or they will go crazy! Am i right? He mended tents bcos he didn't want to burden the poor church members or cause ppl to accuse him that he took money from the church & profited from his ministry which so many r doing. His theology came from the risen Christ Himself by revelation not by simply studying & memorising things from books which he did most of his life until Jesus appeared to him on the road to Damascus & blinded him for 3 days bcos he was breathing murder to Christians. I was glad Stephen died & sowed the seed for Saul's conversion. May God be highly exalted in the heavens & earth! Praise & worship you Lord! Amen! Tks again for agreeing. I agree also that we can never fully understand God in this world bcos i am also in a fix abt many things. Very confused sometimes. Want to go ask God but i need to go heaven in this case that means i had to die! Scary thot. Do you know why the bible sometimes can be so difficult to understand? In the bible, it talks about earth which is of 3-dimensional but it also talk about the spiritual world (heaven and hell) which is of another dimension. So God has talked to us in reference to two worlds - the earthly and the spiritual world. So sometimes, we will get confused. Paul was a good public speaker - we read of his sermon in the synagogue and his philosophical argument with the Greeks? on the hill. Interestingly we not read of any public speaking by the apostles? Haha .. those church members are not poor. He wrote to 7 churches in Asia minor, not all of them poor mah. If everyone contributes a little, Paul be rich lor. Maybe richer than those pastors of mega churches today.

Do u know Paul couldn't have a big church in Athens? Why bcos he used philosophical traditions to try to convince the greeks. He realised his mistake & wrote in other epistles to other churches like Corinth saying he came to them not in great speeches but in preaching Christ Jesus & Christ crucified. The power & wisdom of God w/c sounded foolish to the Greeks & stumbled the Jews. Foolish means stupid in old english, so Paul acted smart aleck & tried to reason out with them to no use.
One very good eg of public speech was by Peter & in one speech a mega church was born with 3000++ members! So how could an uneducated fisherman be so good in public speaking? It's bcos of the Holy Spirit!
Yes, i agree not all rich but the richer the church is the more problematic. Paul didn't become apostle to be rich lah! Or he would be businessman liao! Anyway he did rebuke some churches regarding their giving.
1. Jesus Christ doesn't kill people.
2. Paul did not kill himself.
3. The "dark side" is the devil himself & if ppl keep turning to him, they can never turn back!
