Why are Jews so clever?

I notice a lot of famous ppl and scientists are Jews.
Why do they seem to be much smarter than most of the world, though there is such a small number of them?
Is it because they are the chosen ppl of God? That's why they are blessed with wisdom? -
Because they have been faced with centuries of oppression as a result of their crucifiction of God's only son. This made them resourceful in turn. Since many occupations were restricted to them, many turned to moneylending. The Jews have until today shown themselves to be great bankers, prompting Dr Mahathir to say that they rule the world "by proxy".

The most amazing part is they hold on to their Jewish identity for so many centuries. Chinese, like myself, could have almost forgotten our root, if China has not opened up. -

We have to thank the gentiles too. They discriminated against the Jews, put them in ghettos and pick them out for persecution. No wonder there are many self-hate Jews in history. Marx was one. Interestingly Marx's dream of the utopian society was founded on the Jewish people's longing for the Messiah and next world to come. -
And just simply because Jews doesnt believe in Christ, they were oppressed. And this turned anti Jew sentiments to be a natural thing for the Europeans to do, whether or not the Jews are at fault.
Look at Hitler and the Holocaust. The Holocaust ride on the anti Jew sentiment that had been in the continent for centuries. -

I agree that Indians are intelligent. So are the Chinese who are also street smart (some say cunning). Chinese are the one who came out with numbers in tens. That's why they are so rich after the war (not because they found gold or what).
Many great inventions and science researches by Jews. Even the nuclear weapon was developed by a Jew named J. Robert Oppenheimer (known as the father of nuclear weapon after that). Jews have made contributions in a broad range of human endeavors, including the sciences, art, politics, etc. In particular, there are 167 Jewish Nobel Prize laureates (2005): approximately 22% of all Nobel laureates.

Actually, this come from my secondary school history, plus this is what u see if u read up on the Indians. Originally, the Indians invenmted the numerals we know today, plus it gave the world zero, and these numerals spread to the Arabs. Well ,many races are great, but we wouldnt want to dwell on which race is the greatest right? It gives rise to endless debate, plus its a racists discussion.
I dont mind doing that to valentinoo or munnabhai though....

For example, for Chinese, after time of the Ming Dynasty and early Qing Emperors, technology, science and philosophy went into steady decline due to neglect by the state as well as continued rigidity of the scholars, who kept harping on the old Classics, Confucianism and so on..
While Europe prosper..did you realise many of the classical scientists who lay several scientific framework arent Jews, like Newton and Gallieo? European Jews had the chance to study in well established insititutions by the turn of the century.
Not forgetting the disparity between cultures. Just yesterday i was reading a book on Buddhism, and it describe the difference in psyche between the western world and the oriental world
Jews, being closely influenced by the Europeans, are more assertive, inquisitive and egoistic, and i dont mean unconstructive egoism, than your average Chinese or Indians.
By the way, why no one mention the Japs? I think they are a very clever lot too. -
