Ah.. not yet leh..Originally posted by Icemoon:if you watched the "the days of noah",
they found some fossils (of sea animals) embedded in the rocks on the mountain. how did those get there?!
they claim woods found on the mountain is around 5000 years old. dunno this test true or fake one. there was this guy who actually kept splinters from the ark from his expedition decades ago..
ah.. but then if there's really such an expedition.. I dont think the Scientific community will totally ignore loh.. they are really interested to find the Ark too.. Since it helps the historians and archeologists to under what's life like 5000 years ago..Originally posted by Icemoon:I see your "lol" at the end .. don't laugh too fast. .. and they say the ship couldn't have land up on that attitude?Originally posted by earthlings73:Err.. Mountains are formed by 2 continental plates pushing against one another mah.. So, if an sea animal died a long time ago.. trapped into the land near the sea.. the continental plates will pushing the remains of the animals upwards mah.. Ah, I've forgotten my geography liao.. Hope my description is fair enough.. ha..
got lah .. but of course they interview pple who dun disagree with their pov right? lol .. just like any other documentary.Originally posted by earthlings73:ah.. but then if there's really such an expedition.. Is the any scientist (historians or archeologists) being interviewed in the days of noah?
There's a title on Pyramid for BBC.. =p but not the rest..Originally posted by Icemoon:earthlings73, can find for us the academic community view on the underwater city (they saw a pyramid too!!) in Okinawa, the san1 xing1 dui1 civilization in Sichuan and the true age of the pyramid and sphinx?
the chinese documentary cited the above 3 evidence for the global flood.
Ah.. Without the photographs and the scientific community certifying that the photographs are for real, I'll be 0% convinced.. =pOriginally posted by jnwk:I'm busy to comment to any of the posts up there. Will comment when free.
But , can I have a show of hand, who believe in the recent documentary film regarding the exact location of the ark founded?
I myself am 90% believe it is found. But when they managed to enter the ark and take photographs inside after the water dry off, I will be 100% convinced.
yup.. i'm just addressing the issue of how sea animal fossils can be found on top of a mountain mah.. =pOriginally posted by Icemoon:.. and they say the ship couldn't have land up on that attitude?
the problem with the national geo articles or bbc (read: secular) documentary is they tackled the problem from a scientific angle .. this one not possible that one not possible .. so any miracle from God will surely be discounted (if there were miracles in the first place)

Not that I dont believe in the Ark.. Just that finding the Ark does not prove the entire world was flooded..
wah .. BBC chose to ignore the evidence .. haha .. (just joking)Originally posted by earthlings73:There's a title on Pyramid for BBC.. =p but not the rest..
Somehow pyramid is not a strictly a Jewish concept, or is it?
Aiyo, the Brits are the ones who brought Christianity into this region when they colonise us, do you think they will completely ignore Biblical source?Originally posted by Icemoon:wah .. BBC chose to ignore the evidence .. haha .. (just joking)
Pyramid is whose concept then? So many civilizations have pyramids. I written somewhere even Li-Shan of Chin Shih-Huang looks like a pyramid ..
The tower of Babel .. also a pyramid? so maybe God confused the people so they separate .. but all knows how to build pyramid .. haha

As a good empiricist, I've managed to find all the related articles (in fact, all can be found in wikipedia if you type the correct word for search.. ha..)Originally posted by Icemoon:wah .. BBC chose to ignore the evidence .. haha .. (just joking)

Ah.. me bad.. heh.. meant that as a joke to say that England is still very much a Christian/Catholic country.. A broadcasting company will be mindful not to antagonise with the general audience.. =pOriginally posted by ben1xy:hmm.. i thought mostly by missionaries? like the catholic church in SEA was largely helped by St Francis Xavier

If Noah's ark is proven to be true, then we can prove the truthfulness of the bible. And if the bible is proven to be accurate and true, then we know that it is God's words and there is a God who created heaven and earth.Originally posted by laurence82:and how does one link all this to god, specifically to god in christianity?
hinting here and there doesnt work u noe...
ah.. throughout centuries, people are trying to find the Ark, just like people are waiting for the end of the world.. throughout centuries, there are many claims of the Ark being found and all found to be unreal..Originally posted by jnwk:earthlings73,
Have you watched the film?
Oh, you want the photographs and video? Yes, they do have it. You want to prove if they are for real, well, they found the location of the ark just last year. Wait for them to prove more lo. Time will tell everything!
"However, the General Director Men-fei Yun said that the documentary did not aim to prove the authenticity of their discovery, but focused on guiding people to see God and His judgement through the Flood."
I don't think as a christians themselves, they want to lie. Worse till, lie to the whole world by showing false photographs and videos, tainting the name of Jesus Christ!
Nevertheless, their showing of the documentary film over many countries shows that their story is credible.
Anyway, earthlings73, keep in view this, ok?
Time will tell everything.
What makes you think that the claims are untrue. The world says that it is not found and you believe? Didn't the world say that the earth was square in the past?!Originally posted by earthlings73:ah.. throughout centuries, people are trying to find the Ark, just like people are waiting for the end of the world.. throughout centuries, there are many claims of the Ark being found and all found to be unreal..
if they managed to find it in Ararat, these 2000 years will be worth a wait..
but then, if they can have undeniable facts.. shouldn't they get their biggest nemesis to certify it? Just like when the catholic priest challenged Einstein with the Big Bang Theory.. Yah, the Big Bang Theory was proposed first by a Catholic Priest..
