Charismatic or Traditional?

Let's have a show of hand...
Who here prefers to attend Charismatic Service?
And who prefers Traditional or Solemn ?
Is it because you are converted in or grow up attending such service?
Personally I grow up with the Traditional kind. Even when attending Protestant Church, as that was Presbyterian, all the services were solemn.
When I was intro to Charismatic Church, I wasn't so used to the atmosphere. So I still stick to the Presbyterian Church until some time later.
Catholic Masses are very traditional. Even though some have Charismatic Mass once a week, which I attened once or twice only, I still go back to the Traditional one.
But my good friend who came from Calvary Charismatic Church only wants to attend Charismatic. He said that without the atmosphere of congregation shouting "Amen", "Praise the Lord" etc, he would feel something is missing.
What about the rest of you here? -
i'm a lousy catholic...
i'd go to the normal Masses coz occasionally, i'd pass out and fall asleep
but seriously.. there's something very respectful about the traditional Mass

Anyway, side track a bit, I have signed up to be a Lector. But so far, I have no chance of doing the reading

my gf's a Christian .. i used to follow her to woodlands evangelical free church .. i quite like it there
i attend the catholic mass every week though .. the sacredness of the whole mass is something i cannot miss
speaking of which.. i used to go to the catholic charismatic mass.. those held by Father Vincent Lee... i stop going after he went to Uganda though -

does not matter as long as the teaching is sound... there are times when hyms are what you want to sing and there are times when you want to crank it up a bit...

The Catholic Church's Charismatic meeting is very much like the Protestant ones... got speaking in tongue, even got "being slained by the spirit". I attended one retreat called the Youth in the Spirit Seminar. I thought I could appreciate Charismatic better after this. But no, too bad for me. I have always not been able to reach their kind of level, shouting boldly during the service Amen or Praise God. Moreoever they all seem to be enjoying it very much.

Me personally, New Creation Church, though I was originally baptised at Wesley and am still a member of the church where I used to interpret services for the deaf. New Creation is at Suntec, right? I have been to Wesley for a wedding. I kinda like the church building structure. If I'm not wrong, it is the only Protestant Church in Sg that provides Sat evening service, for those who can't attend on Sun.
St Andrews - super nice place. Mediacorp always like to use that place. I have been there a few times just to appreciate the nice internal structure. Sometimes even stayed there for a while to pray. -

Actually those big Protestant churches like chc, fcbc all have sat evening service. -
I only went there for midweek bible study, on and off. The only diff bet. the midweek and sunday one is no eucharist. But hey .. charismatic church pattern standard one .. songs also pretty much standard .. that time I went Catholic Tridentine service I was like wow!
