i can conclude that, its good to have a religion.. as it teaches you values and controls you to an extent..
got a guy once told me many ppl (no group in particular) are considering themselves "free thinkers", thus able to do what they want in a negative view, such as gamble etc.
still.. i will do my best to prevent my dear parents from going to church this sunday at all costs! (heard they go there to listen to some talks).
really, religion hopping is an no-no..

every race and every religion has their set of morals and values
these are together, not separated
so u cant say morals is a thing by itself, and adding race and religions mess it up -

It depends on how you see God's role in this. I know SIS will become a ferverent Christian, I was like laurence and SIS b4, now I am very strong and committed to God, I trust completely and will not be shaken form my faith and my assurance in Him, have already done the backsliding part... hehe... now I am back and back for good. I my experience in life (not very long) but I find that it is the ones that are the most outspoken against Christianity, Jesus and God that are the ones who become the most ferverent. When you come to know God and realise just how much He loves you and cares for you, and that all your needs are taken care of... and that He watches over you so closely... you will come to realise as I did, it is far better to be with God than to be without... when we strive in our human strength, we struggle so hard to get to where we want to... but if we rest in the Lord, He will make the way for us.
Do not get this out of context, it does not mean that I just sit here and don't work... I do, but I don't worry and stress because I know God is in charge... and once you have come to know this peace... you will know why I cling to God so strongly. The peace He gives is truly not as the world gives!!! AMEN!God always supplies your need and in abundance... I know this from experience. He will make a way for you where there seems no way if you let Him be God!!!
Hope this encourages you who believe and gives those who do not something to think about. We are all predestined to be saved, but whether we are or not depends on us. God has set before us today life and death and we are encouraged to choose life! -

I don't believe god exists and I think the experiences etc r all made up. Of course these r my own personal opinions -
you never know, ... i actually went through all that you and laurence are going through right now, with the hating christians etc... but then you have to take your own journey. Take care. Firstly, it is the duty of all Christians to spread the faith.
Lets put it simply... I don't really care wat the bible written tat give justification for being pushy and pesty. It is the same as I don't care if the quran has some strange verses in it tat ask people to commit jihad and blow people up. Tis is a terrible justification to commit any things tat deemed it as undesirable to other people of other faith. So wat if the bible tells u guys to spread the faith ? Bottomline is most people don't like such harrassment. Why dont you ask yourself what had christians done?
I pray one day you will become an atheist,and stop believing fallacies and false prophets
i mean, i seen couple of christians turn non christians than the other way round, some become atheists, some become Buddhists, some dont care..
anyway, stories of people converting to christianity after long term of being anti christians is usually some crap wrote by christians for self assurance and to fool people
