Before the tsunamis struck, it was said that all the animals retreated to high ground, only the 'smarter' men was seen rushing to the coastal areas to take pictures and videos....

aiya it is 'cos animals live in nature and we don't. fishermen during the tsunami sensed something was wrong when they saw the receding of waves.

If i were to be a fisherman. I would have studied the waters and effect of waves that would mean. Likewise the knowledge i have as a fisherman is natural for me to detect 'strange happenings' to the waves.
Animals in another sense, doesn't have the knowledge. But they just sense it.
What is so not miraculous about it?

well, that activity can be compared to Bungee Jumping, Sky Diving etc etc, is a very perspective thing lah, some find it stupid, some find it exciting and fun
