1) When I was a non-believer, I have phobia about Christians e.g. the way they preached that I am going to hell if I dun believe in Christ; the 'weird, passionate and somewhat cultish' way they worship; the way they speak in tongues seemed like demon possessed rather than edifying (i was told that I was awed by the phenomenon of tongues by a believer).
2) But - when I become a believer, I find that some Christians also have phobia about traditions e.g. avoiding to walk near large joss sticks/large red banners/burning of incense during buddhist/taoist festivals. Even though some maybe 'born-again' christians who have even went thru all this b4 and they understand why it was like that, they seemed to have develope a phobia for it and quickly attributing all unchristian ways as 'devillish'.
Is there a way to find a balance between christian/non-christian ways, since we are all living in a multi-cultural society? I know that what is acceptable to pple may not be accepted to GOD, but I really hope to see a balance of this as I find Christian Phobia/Tradition Phobia are unfounded and not productive for pple of both sides.

Their fear may be a sign they do not understand God well.
