I am now a baptised believer. My gf and I pray together when we have problems...think prayers help a lot...continue to seek his word and the rest will be added to u both...I will pray for u guys too....hee

i'm still in doubt whether i can still receive God's blessings and protection even if i know now that i have not been following one of the commandments in the bible which is not to be unequally yoked with non-believers.
If u look at scriptures closely, even the non-believer spouse will be sanctified by GOD. The whole household will be sanctified even by one believer.
Give ur gf some time to grow spiritually and have faith in GOD. Pray for each other more. Or PRAY TOGETHER even better. I did that with my gf.
I was unequally yoked with my gf, but now even I have become a baptised believer. She stood firm by my side when i am in trouble, showed me the love of our lord Jesus and did not argue much with me when i make her cry. I reflected on my skepticism and decided finally I have to state my stand: whether i become a believer or leave her.
On my baptism day, I proposed to her. She accepted...haha!!!
My mum who is a staunch buddhist also stopped nagging. She accepted that the both of us are going to church already.
Now we are very happy couple....sometimes still squabble.....but at least we know we love each other very much... -
Actually even if things are settled (leader taken to task), do you think people are going to let you off? No doubt relationship will be strained. How's the leader's relationship with the cell? What will you do if you meet them in church?

How come the govt or even different religions themselves always promote getting along well with other religions.
then when ur gf is christian and u are not, her church friend and cell grp leader encourages her to break up with you? What is this? why so hypocritical?
I have this problem too, becoz im a mormon and the girl i've been dating is a methodist. they also encourage her to break up with me. -
Ask those people opposing your relationship if God had specifically and personally said that the 2 of you cannot be together.
