I think it is very strange...I always thought Charismatic churches are more liberal than Presbyterian/BP....it is strange that they are even more staunch than BP churches regarding this issue!!!!!
I didn't lose faith in God, i lost my faith in churches who profess themselves as Godly and righteous. Spare me from those self centred and self righteous place of worship. Christianity and worship is a cover-up.
To me, it is merely a buz organisation.
But no doubt God's calling onto them is still Miracle Service.
And those healings has been God's work. No dispute.

I left Charismatic for Presbyterian becoz of Tongues/Miracle healings...

In the end, it's not the system and beliefs. It's how christian are able to face God and worship Him.
Church is a place where it does not necessarily mean He'll be there.
No verses tell me that God will dwell in any churches unless there are people who throne Him the king and made that church a House of God.

God's purpose but i'm still doubt whether God will forgive me ragarding this matter and still guide me through the journey to achieving His purpose that He has for me.
i'm still in doubt whether i can still receive God's blessings and protection even if i know now that i have not been following one of the commandments in the bible which is not to be unequally yoked with non-believers. -

My gf and I have the same problems too, I was non-believer while she was a believer (exactly opposite with u!)...
She left NCC for me....we went back to Living Praise where she came from and we are very happy there!
In a relationship, both have to compromise. I become a believer, and she left her church becoz i am not comfortable there.
There are many churches in Singapore. I am sure u can find one that suits the both of u.
I am now a baptised believer. My gf and I pray together when we have problems...think prayers help a lot...continue to seek his word and the rest will be added to u both...I will pray for u guys too....hee
