Desperate? Discouraged? Sick? Jesus have all the answers

Matthew 5:2-12

Luke 6:20-26
And raising his eyes toward his disciples he said:
"Blessed are you who are poor, for the kingdom of God is yours.
Blessed are you who are now hungry, for you will be satisfied.
Blessed are you who are now weeping, for you will laugh.
Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude and insult you, and denounce your name as evil on account of the Son of Man. Rejoice and leap for joy on that day! Behold, your reward will be great in heaven. For their ancestors treated the prophets in the same way.
But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your consolation.
But woe to you who are filled now, for you will be hungry.
Woe to you who laugh now, for you will grieve and weep.
Woe to you when all speak well of you, for their ancestors treated the false prophets in this way." -
whenever i am discouraged and losing faith with GOD, i will remember Jesus' beatitudes. These are all the things a JUST GOD can promise his believers.

Chapter 21 of Revelation begins with these words:
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there in no longer any sea. Such conditional "love" where upon he cast
Maketh his words shallow

conditional "love" is the message ?
If you obey, sow, believe, pray and have faith, be judged worthy or not, then and only then you will have good life? Conditional and unrelated. Because most of us are unworthy even to live. -

For those whoare confused. The verses that laoda posted is called the Beatitudes.
It doesn't mean we have to be poor and miserable to be blessed. Being poor materially is definitely not a blessing. Being "poor in spirit" simply means that we realise we cannot achieve salvation by our own effort. When we realise that we are "poor" then we can start searching for answers to the "poverty".
Being mourners doesn't mean that we will only be blessed if someone we love dies. "Mourners" mourn for their sins. Once we realised what we are sinners, then we know we need comfort, and we shall find it if we seek it. -

tell me GOD loves you when you are in all sorts of trouble. not when everything is going for you. -

i always believe we should not only pray for the sick but give them concrete help also....
think the missions are doing a good job in those poor countries...
