Do u take GOD for granted?

I believe I do sometimes, without realising what he had done for me...
I fail to praise him when things go my way...but quick to curse him when i m in trouble.... -

but one thing for sure, the lord giveth and the lord taketh it away. Everything we have here on earth belonged to him. What is most important is for us to live life to the fullest and serve him when we are still on this earth.
Our GOD is a just GOD. These are Jesus' sayings and promises:
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted
Blessed is the man who mourns like one mourning for the dead.
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
"Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
"Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and
utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
Rejoice and be glad for your reward is great in heaven,
for so men persecuted the prophets who were before you."
Therefore we can completely be assured that GOD has his plans and he is righteous and just. -

men are sinners...if not for GOD's grace we will be in eternal condemnation. Thru Christ we are no longer condemned but share in his righteousness....
we serve him out of love.....not becoz fear.....or becoz we wanna something from GOD....we can't buy his love...we can't buy our place in heaven...only thru faith in Christ we are able to realise our rewards for heaven. -

What i learn from the bible: children have a special place in GOD's eyes. Jesus says:"do not stop the little children from coming to me." "if one is not like a child, he would not inherit the kingdom of god."
Reading all these, I am assured that GOD will have mercy on these kids. We can't explain evrything.....i think no one can...even pple of other faiths cannot reason effectively why things have to be this way (karma?)
but we know that GOD is indeed merciful and just... -

We should not be quick to judge why bad things happened. For my own experience only, i believed GOD wants to humble me becoz i have a heart of stone. I was just as skeptical as any staunch atheists here.
We just need to have faith in GOD and trust that he will put things right.
Chapter 21 of Revelation begins with these words:
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there in no longer any sea. And I saw the holy city New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.
